Carole Martinez

RMIT Brandmark
Clear space & Minimum size RMIT Brandmark The RMIT Brandmark is the key identifier of the university. The RMIT Brandmark is formed by two key elements: - the RMIT Wordmark - the RMIT Symbol The relationship between these two elements is fixed and should never be separated or used as individual elements. It is essential that the brandmark is always reproduced from the digital art files supplied.
RMIT Symbol
Clear space The RMIT brandmark needs to be surrounded by an area of uninterrupted clear space to allow it to remain prominent on all communications. Clear space is the non-print area surrounding the brandmark. A basic formula had been used to calculate the minimum ‘clear space’– this can be used to determine clear space for the brandmark at any size.

No other graphic elements (such as photography or typography) should appear within this zone. Wherever possible, apply more clear space than the minimum specified in this guide. Minimum size To avoid any possible reproduction problems, the brandmark must never be produced at a size less than that shown opposite. Wherever possible, reproduce the brandmark at a size larger than the minimum, especially where there may be a question around the quality of the reproduction, for example silk screening or embroidery.

A conference by French professor, Alain Pavé based on a
15 may documentary by Bruno Cédat, biology engineer.
Tuesday 15 may, 6.30 pm / Alliance Française de Melbourne /Ballroom
The Alliance Française de Melbourne will organise a conference presented by Alain Pavé and Bruno Cédat about the notion of biodiversity, and its scientific and social meaning. Alain Pavé is a French emeritus university professor, member of the Academy of Technology and former director of the CRNS Amazonian Program in French Guyana. He is specialised in the dynamic of biodiversity, biology, in both theoretical and progressive ecology, and in the science of the environment. This conference will be based on Bruno Cedat’s documentary, The Goolarabooloo between Nature and Tradition. Biodiversity and ecosystem.
Bruno Cedat is an INSA engineer, specialised in biology. In August 2010, Bruno Cedat spent some time in an Aboriginal community to film a documentary about biodiversity. This project led him to meet scientists, biodiversity and ecosystems restoration specialists. Assisted by French scientist, Alain Pavé and Kingsley Dixon, Director of the botanic garden in Perth, Bruno Cedat’s documentary reveals the biological wealth of Western Australia and the privileged relations of the Aboriginal with environment. From this documentary, Alain Pavé will raise the notion of biodiversity, its interpretation by
both scientists and the public opinion, but also its scientific, social and cultural meanings. This debate will increase the awareness of the public towards environmental thematic through an educational documentary. DELF PRIM
SESSION DATES
What are they?
What is the DELF Prim?
DELF & DALF:
Issued by the French Ministry of Education, the DELF and DALF exams are designed to assess the communicative skills of a candidate in a real-life situation and to evaluate know-how rather than the linguistic and formal grammatical knowledge.
Why should I take these exams?
Contrary to other language tests, DELF and DALF diplomas are valid for life. They are recognised everywhere in the world and valued by French and European employers. Furthermore, for admission to a French university the DELF B2 diploma is the minimum level required.
The DELF Prim is an official diploma awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the proficiency in French as a Foreign Language of children aged 8 to 12.
Why take the DELF Prim? To reward your child’s work at school and treat him/her with his/her first diploma of French. To officially attest the level of French of your child to enter a bilingual or French School. To give your child the opportunity to be well prepared to pass the next levels of DELF through his/her progress at school.
