The JSW Legacy

From its first plant set up in Vasind, Maharashtra in 1982 to acquiring the status of India’s leading steelmaker in 2010’s churning out 28.5 MTPA of steel from its facilities in India and abroad, JSW has a rich legacy of constant innovation and expansion through calibrated risk-taking. The company’s manufacturing unit in Vijayanagar, Karnataka set up in 1994 has now grown into the largest single-location steel-producing facility in India with a capacity of 12 MTPA.
