We would like to welcome you to the 6th Annual Sale to be held proubly at the farm!!

Thank you to all our customers over the years that have the confidence to buy from us. We enjoy getting pictures from happy customers or talking to people that have our cattle in their programs and are so excited about how they are working for them.

Last spring brought many worries when it was dry and we waited for the moisture but Mother Nature came through and provided enough for us to get feed and help with the pastures. Turning pairs into the hayland offered a little extra time in the summer to get ready for the Alberta Angus Tour that we held in August at the farm. We had a great turn out of cattle for display and friends, neighbors and fellow angus enthusiasts that could just visit and enjoy a great steak supper. Thanks to everyone involved that helped to make it such a fun event.

We had a successful fall sale run, selling cattle to customers in Alberta, Quebec and Mexico. We are excited to hear what they will do in your program and thank the amazing sales staff that go beyond to help us market these cattle.

Fall also brought another new member to our family as Ty & Shania welcomed their 3rd little girl Holland and Bill and Tracy’s 6th grandbaby for them to spoil. Our family is doing well and they are all busy with the activities that fulfill and make them happy.

Wasn’t the cattle market fun this fall! The commercial cattleman sold their calves for a premium unlike anything we have ever seen. Cow/Calf producers were paid well for their hard work and it justified keeping cows for another year. There were a number of people that maybe had to downsize their herds to get through the drought and feed shortage but could do so while still making some money. We hope for April rains that fill dugouts and help the hay grow.

The Angus and Simmental bulls have a lot to offer, a group that we believe have a lot of great qualities to help you be profitable. They are great hipped, heavy muscled and long. There are cow bulls that will breed to push down the scales or heifer bulls to make it easy on that 1st calf heifer but still have a few pounds in the fall to sell. They are fed a TMR with a great mineral package to ensure healthy animals that are ready to do the job.

Last year at calving it seemed like they were all females being born, that being said we have outstanding heifers up for sale. They would certainly be staying here if we hadn’t been keeping so many heifers for the last 3 years. We don’t have the capacity to keep expanding right now, so some of the good ones need to go. Don’t be afraid to put a little Redrich in your herd.

We have a great sales crew who stop by often to look at the offering, have confidence in their ability to describe the animals to you or if you have any questions about the offering. You are more than welcome to stop anytime at the farm for a tour of the bulls, the cows that raise them and the replacement pen. Bill and Tyler enjoy the visits and showing you the cows. Calving Ease Legend

Calving ease is often related to birth weight of a bull. This is partly true but there are other factors that influence calving ease. The dam and her management are at least 50% of calving ease. Also, the consistency of the birth weights of the sire and dam should be considered. We rated each bull in the sale based on the information we have.

Delivery Options

A. If you wish you may take your cattle home sale day or within a week and receive a $100 discount per Bull.

B. Bulls & Purebred heifers will be delivered free of charge up to 250 miles, further at cost. Delivery usually commences 2-3 weeks after sale.

C. We ask that ALL commercial heifers go home sale day unless prior arrangements have been made with Redrich, contact us for options.

D. Bulls kept at Redrich free of charge until MAY 1st, after that, $4.00/day will be charged and animals must be picked up by purchaser.

These commercial heifers are bred for soundness and correctness to become valued females in any herd. They have all been palpated for breeding soundness by our vet and have been vaccinated with Vira Shield 6+ VL5.

Bidding: Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. Bidding disputes: The auctioneer will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be final.

Terms & Conditions

Terms: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque. The right of property shall not pass until settlement is made. All settlements will be made with the clerks of the sale immediately following the conclusion of the sale and before any cattle will be released from the sale facility. Each animal becomes risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.

Guarantee: We guarantee you a sound breeding bull, if he fails to be a satisfactory breeder, we will replace him with a bull of equal value or credit towards the purchase of another bull. No refunds. Bulls are not guaranteed to freeze semen, if you have any problems with your purchase, contact us immediately.

Insurance: Will be available sale day. All bulls fed for the month of April are at the purchasers risk and must be insured.

Liability: All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk. Neither owners, clerks, or anyone connected with the sale assumes any responsibility, legal or otherwise for damage of any kind.

Announcements: Changes of information contained in this catalog will be corrected by announcements from the block at sale time and shall take precedence over any printed material.

Semen: Redrich reserves the right to collect semen on any bull sold through the sale for in herd use only. This will be collected at the buyers convenience and seller’s expense.

Delivery: Delivery will commence in April, Please leave delivery instructions at the time of settlement.

Certificates of Registry: A certificate of registry and transfer will be furnished for each animal after full payment has been made.

Cattle Inspection: All cattle carry permanent ID tags corresponding to sale lot numbers. All shall be available for inspection prior to sale.

Females: All females are guaranteed breeders. The standard CAA guarantee will apply.
