AHRMA MAG August 2021, Vol. No. 3, Issue No. 7

Page 9

STILL CRAZY AFTER ALL THESE YEARS... This has been a crazy busy year with a lot of AHRMA members traveling to get to some of AHRMA's special events. Personally, we traveled for almost four straight weeks between July and August, crossing the country twice during that time and driving through 23 states. It was REALLY good to get home even though we hated missing the Blackhawk Farms back-to-back with Gingerman Raceway.

As we approach our Barber Vintage Festival event, if you plan to compete in any of the events scheduled, you need to be aware that we will be providing a list of pre-entries from each discipline to Barber's marketing team to include in their souvenir program. This will allow attendees to have a general idea as to what is happening where and when. So... down to business. I would like every single member who competes in AHRMA, whether you will be at Barber or not, to do the following as soon as possible: 1.

As the roadrace competitors are aware, Roadracing World publishes full results from each of our race events on roadracingworld.com. What I've found when preparing the roadracing results for Roadracing World's press release is that quite a number of our roadracers do NOT have all the information on their vehicles.

4.

If your vehicle is in your "garage" but isn't fully listed with Year, Make and Model, delete it and create a new vehicle and make sure this information is included. For the roadracers this will require that you add your transponder number as well.

Every vehicle in your MotorsportReg "garage" should have Year, Make AND Model specified. In addition, model information often is not correct (i.e., cb or Cb instead of CB when specifying CB175, CB160, CB350, etc.). Please note, this issue is not restricted to roadracers, this situation exists across all disciplines.

5.

While you are in your account, please make sure that your personal information appears with upper and lower case information, for example "Your Name" - not "YOUR NAME" and not "your name" for all of your information, including "City." "Hometown, State" is something we share in Roadracing World results, and we will also be sharing it for the Barber Souvenir program.

It's been a few AHRMA MAG issues since I last submitted a column and it's been a nice break, but I decided it was time I put one together as there are some items I want to share with our competing members.

All this being said, if you want your name to appear in the Barber Vintage Fest program, PLEASE PRE-ENTER! CINDY MCLEAN AHRMA Communications cindy.mclean@ahrma.org
