Since 2014, the hosting of the IC in Taiwan, we have made the delegates from various countries and territories of the world see Taiwan’s enthusiasm, friendliness and diversity, and let this glorious moment illuminate the past generations, even myself. Extremely proud to be able to represent Taiwan in AIESEC and lead this young generation. In the past few years, the number of members has decreased, the activity of the AIESEC has declined, and some partners have lost contact. However, when we look back at this organization with a long history and still unlimited vigor. “We can, we can take this opportunity to return to the international stage again, and to attract more and more local youth and those corporations interesting in the Asia-Pacific region. Then, we can promote the process of sustainable development and youth leadership. After years of unremitting efforts since 2017, the Asia Pacific Conference has finally come to this beautiful island! We are about to receive more than 300 young leaders from the Asia-Pacific region in Taiwan in 2021. In spite of the difficult time for the world currently, we still have unlimited hope, and hope that this conference will give a new vision to the post-COVID era as a turning point Therefore, as the CCP of the Asia-Pacific Conference, I am looking forward to the 2021 conference can be truly practiced so much. At the conference, we will stand together with Taiwan’s youth and local corporations to polish the spirit of Taiwan, embrace the diverse young leaders from Asia-Pacific region. Taiwan _ Heart of Asia Taiwan, officially the Republic of China (ROC), is a state in East Asia. The island of Taiwan has an area of 35,808 square kilometers, with mountain ranges dominating the eastern two-thirds and plains in the western third, where its highly urbanized population is concentrated. Taipei is the capital and largest metropolitan area. When we think about Taiwan, we always think about warm and kind people, delicious food, beautiful landscape and lots of natural and historical place to discover.
AIESEC in Taiwan has been in here for 55 years, with strong believe in the Essence of AIESEC. We always want to showcase in the global plenary with our own identity and our belief in young person in Taiwan can be the leaders that the world needs in near future. That’s the reason why we still here and really want to spread our impact in this entity. With these context, we hope 2021 Asia Pacific Congress would be the best conference ever and show the “Heart of Asia Pacific”

Asia Pacific Conference_ A new journey start in International Conference Experience Asia Pacific Conference is a conference that we engage youth from Asia Pacific with 21 entities to get together, discuss about the relevance for AIESEC in Asia Pacific and also the practical training to develop youth have ability to create more & better leadership experience matters. Since 2019, we start to focus on Local Committee to engage into this conference, we put more focus on network training and capacity build-up in local level. For this Asia Pacific Conference, is a new journey for AIESECers in local level to start an International Conference Experience. Hence, Asia Pacific Conference has already host in numerous entities ( last time Taiwan host in 2011). And deliver more than 10K+ youth leadership experience with external partner engage. We believe that this leadership journey will continue and Taiwan has this great responsibility to hold in 2021.
