Annual Parents Evening

AIESEC, the world's largest youth organization, is the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential so as to have a positive impact on society. In addition to providing over 5,000 leadership positions and delivering over 350 conferences to our membership of over 22,000 students, AIESEC also runs an exchange program that enables over 4,000 students and recent graduates the opportunity to live and work in another country.

Together with a focus on building personal networks and exploring the direction and ambition of their future, AIESEC has an innovative approach to engaging and developing young people. Our partner organizations, literally thousands from all sectors, look at AIESEC as a way to support the development of young people and to have access to high-potential young talent from around the world. Our alumni are leaders within these organizations and their communities - using the experience, skills, and increased vision that AIESEC gave them to be agents of positive change. AIESEC provides a person the opportunity to:

Develop Leadership Gain international experience and work abroad Build a global network by connecting to like-minded youth around the world Enrich learning and compliment academics with practical work experience

AIESEC’s parents evening is an annual feature of AIESEC Chandigarh with an objective of creating awareness about the organization among the parents of youth who volunteer to work in the organization. It has an overriding aim to making sure parental support in all activities done by the organization to let each member avail a support system from the home environment, thus, enabling him to discover and develop his potential beyond measure. The concerned event was held this year on the 24th February at Indira Holiday Home, Sector 24, Chandigarh. It witnessed an attendance of approximately 30 students with their parents and was marked successfully by clearing parental doubts about the work in the organization, commitment, opportunities etc.
