MCEB Life Salary The monthly salary is 300 USD paid in Quetzales which is 2400 Quetzales per month, paid in to half, one on the 15 th and the other one on the 30th. The salary is enough to afford basic personal expenses and needs in Guatemala City. You can eat outside for less than 25 quetzales and if you cook by yourself you spend less. Transportation is not a problem because the bus (Transmetro or Transurbano) cost only 1 quetzal and is near from our house and office. MCEB salary fully depends on the financial capability and the current MCEB performance (with a trend to increase in the future) hence the amount may vary and the exchange rate may also define how much is paid out in local currency. Other Costs Covered AIESEC in Guatemala covers to every MCEB member the following costs: Accommodation (rent and servicies) in the MCEB house. National conferences fees and travel expenses. Travel for purposes of AIESEC in Guatemala, like for account management, according to national priorities and budget available, are covered. Personal travel and moving expenses in Guatemala are not. The support for MC members to go to International Conferences depends on the financial situation during the term.
