Scoot "Longest Smooch on Scoot"

In Singapore, Singapore Airlines’ budget subsidiary Scoot offered free flights to couples who could kiss the longest on board two of its flights on Valentine's Day.

On the first flight from Singapore to Bangkok, the winning couple locked lips for 35 minutes and scored a pair of ScootBiz tickets to any of the airline's destinations and one night's accommodation.

The competition on the return flight proved “too hot to handle,” with five couples unable to part lips for the entire flight from Singapore to Bangkok. According to the media release: "They kissed while standing, sitting, squatting and persisting till the flight was about to descend." All five couples were declared winners and each couple received a pair of Economy Fly tickets to a Scoot destination of their choice.

Says Scoot's CEO Campbell Wilson of the flight,

It was great to celebrate the spirit of Valentine's Day, and in a much more enjoyable way than just keeping one’s hand ona car. We only hope that our fantastic couples haven't prematurely exhausted their passion.
