TAP “Love Is In The Air”

Portuguese flag carrier TAP, meanwhile, took a less physical (but no less affectionate) approach for its Valentine’s Day initiative. The airline’s “O amoresteve no ar’ (Love Is In The Air) campaign asked its Facebook fans to share their best love declaration by creating cards on a dedicated Facebook app. The airline partnered with Mercure Hotels to award free stays for the best declarations it received.

A total of 111 declarations were submitted. TAP then printed the best love declarations on real cards and placed them on the meal trays onboard its flights on Valentine’s Day. The airline then asked passengers to read them out loud and turned these spoken declarations into a heartwarming video that was published on YouTube (generating around 7,000 views so far).
