Peyton joined the Junior League of Montgomery in 2016 and has enjoyed serving placements with Brantwood Children’s Home and League Logs. She works as a business innovation analyst at Alfa Insurance and spends her days creating content for digital marketing efforts. Previously, she served as editor at RSVP Montgomery magazine. In her spare time, Peyton creates embroidered items and paper goods, such as party invites, that she sells on Etsy. She is a 2012 graduate of Troy University with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism, a contract in public relations and a minor in leadership studies. A Selma native, Peyton lives in Cloverdale with her husband, Andy, their 4-year-old son, Rhettman, 2-year-old daughter, Camilla, and their two dogs, Fitz and Bailey. She is a member of Landmark Church.
Sara Beth Beals • Co-Editor Sara Beth Beals currently serves as the co-editor of League Logs. She is a native of Dothan but has called the River Region home for over ten years. She is the Digital Content Creator for Alfa Insurance and has been with the company since 2012. Sara Beth is a 2010 graduate of The University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in communication. She joined the Junior League of Montgomery in 2017 and has previously served as Member Records Coordinator, Co-Chair for Dream Court community placement and member of That’s My Child community placement. She is a Junior Executive Board member for Child Protect Children’s Advocacy Center and currently serves as the marketing chair. Sara Beth lives in Wetumpka with her husband, Michael, and their dog Tucker. She is a member of First United Methodist Church in Montgomery.
Tasha Cooper • Staff Writer Tasha Cooper, a native of Gainesville, Florida, has spent the past 19 years volunteering for and serving in various capacities at nonprofit organizations including management, marketing & public relations, fundraising, and program development. Tasha graduated with a B.A. in Communication & Public Relations in 2005 from the University of West Florida (UWF) in Pensacola, Florida, and a Masters in Nonprofit Administration from Louisiana State University-Shreveport. Tasha moved to Montgomery in July 2017. She serves as the Executive Director of HandsOn River Region and resides in Montgomery with her husband Brennan, their daughter Nora, and several fur babies.
Theresa Patterson • Staff Writer Theresa serves as the program coordinator with the Alabama State Department of Education. She is a former classroom teacher and is an active sustainer with the Junior League of Montgomery. She is the loving mother of one son who lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, working with the University of New Mexico. She loves to travel and entertain her 5 godchildren. Theresa serves the community in many ways as a board member and volunteer for various organizations such as the Cleveland Avenue YMCA, Hands on River Region, and the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa Sorority.
