Design to me is when client’s wants and needs meet designer’s vision. Our job as designers is to improve lives. Aesthetically pleasing spaces are not our only responsibility. Functional, universally accessible, beautiful places that satisfy even the most specific requests clients might have is what I focus on. Helping clients live their life to the fullest, add happiness and accommodate their needs through my vision is what I strive for.

FIRM BACKGROUND

CONCEPT

O’Donnell Dannwolf & Partners Architects design is a reputable architectural firm based in Hollywood, Florida. Their mission is not only to satisfy the highest expectations of today’s clients, but also to exceed them. Their mission is important, because as competition levels rise, efforts to stay on top is the drive behind a lot of successful businesses and their ability to innovate makes a significant difference. Also, another important component of their mission and philosophy is: “to create efficiently constructed, distinct building forms”. Their team and teams they work with, consists of architects, designers, general contractors and construction managers and they all strive for efficient and timely construction. Distinction is a guiding force behind O’Donnell Dannwolf & Partners Architects design. They are convinced that every building is the symbol of the business. Therefore, integrate recognizable branding in each of their projects will make a building easily recognizable is one of the goals for every project ODP gets involved in.

The concept behind this project is Parametric Reflection. It is derived from a fundamental philosophy ODP goes by, which states that the design of a building or an office should reflect the culture of the business it is representing through form, shape, color and architectural elements. Based on the aesthetics of exterior as well as exterior spaces ODP has designed, incorporation of parametric elements in the design of the recruiting kiosk would give a good visual representation of their firm. Mixed use of organic and geometric shapes will depict dynamic culture of the firm as well as firms relentless attention to detail and precision through alignment and grounding. Contrasting colors, bold choice of finishes and use of technology will create visual interest to attract potential recruits. Accent lighting will highlight exhibiting models of the best projects ODP has designed located on display shelving. Design of this kiosk is aiming to reflect the rhythm, diversity and creativity of O’Donnell Dannwolf and Partners Architects.
