Ma. Cristina L. Barrera, LPT took root, grew, and continues to grow in Quezon City in the Philippines. She completed her Literature Course at the Philippine Normal University-Manila. She was the Vice-President for Internal Affairs of Circulus Literati, a literary organization in PNU-Manila in 2014. Became the Literary Editor of The Torch Publications and published her poetry for women in the 38th ANI Journal of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP). A teacher at FEU Diliman and currently taking a master’s for the Creative Writing course at the University of the Philippines-Diliman. She believes everything begins and ends with Great Love.

A former nurse and a medical writer by profession, she began painting during the lockdown to cope with stress. Now, she has sold over 90 artworks in a year and joined numerous exhibits and competitions. She believes that it’s never too late to pursue your dreams and the things that make you happy.

Ever since she was little, art and crafts have always fascinated Hannah. The process of turning something from her imagination into an actual tangible object has always amazed her. She fell in love with the whole process of creating art, and so she believed that “If she can imagine it, she can make it.” And with this mindset, her artworks became products of her imagination, a mixture of surrealism and contemporary. Her subjects are often children, for she believes that children see the world in all its untainted beauty.
