Venue & Accommodation Pre-GA
The venue and the accommodation of the PreGA are located in Taichung, the second largest city in Taiwan with pleasant weather and environment. In addition, Taichung is also endowed with a rich history and stunning natural scenery. It also offers cheap culinary delights, assorted shopping area and art galleries, making it well worth a visit!
Venue: Pre-GA workshops will take place at China Medical University (CMU), located conveniently in the center of Taichung City. Besides, CMU is able to provide numerous classrooms for up to 10 workshops and all equipped with blackboard, projector, computer, flipcharts.

Accommodation: Lodging for 250 pre-GA participants will be at Ren-Mei Business Hotel and Stay Hotel, both are within ten minutes by foot to CMU. Regarding to the equipment in these two hotels, Wi-fi is both available and breakfast will be served at the hotel. The famous business area, Yi-Zhong Street, is a place where some main food stands are located. The students and office workers around this area are all satisfied with these delicious delicacies. You are where you eat and where you have fun. Hospitable Taiwanese are willing to share our authentic cuisine to all of you!
GA As we invited all the future medical students back to Taiwan for the AM2019, we are glad to show the world that we are solemnly adhering to the topic of AM2014, "Values of Sustainability", that we decide to accommodate everyone in the same perfect venues, The Grand Hotel Taipei and Chientan Youth Activity Center, again.

A Perfect Start of
AM2019
To start the GA, our Opening banquet, ceremony and welcome party will be held in the Grand Hotel of Taipei .
Spectacular Outside, Gorgeous Inside The Grand Hotel retains the elements of classic Chinese architecture from the outside. It is not only the most splendid landmark of Taipei, but representative of contemporary palatial architecture. Standing on a hill where Keelung River quietly flows beneath, The Grand Hotel Taipei offers an amazing view of whole Taipei Basin from its northern edge. In addition, it is only one street across from the Chientan Youth Activity Center, the main venue and where all IFMSA delegates will be accommodated.

Be Prepared to be Amazed To ensure every delegate a wonderful opening banquet and welcome party, The Grand Banquet Hall adorned in an undertone luxurious style will relieve all the tiredness from the journey. Buffet of great variety of dishes will be provided by the Grand Restaurant which will definitely get everyone's taste satisfied. This 1400-square-metered room with more than 1000-guest capacity will initiate a perfect start for the ceremony and day-1 plenary. The Grand Hotel with beautiful architecture, delicious dining, and appropriate location from the accommodation will surely be a perfect start for every delegate participating AM2019 in Taipei, Taiwan!

Easily Accessible Location Chientan Youth Ac tivity Center is situated conveniently in downtown Taipei, reachable from the international airport within 40 minutes, and adjacent to Shilin night market shopping district. The transit station of Metro Taipei is also situated close-by and is well with in walking distance, allowing people to access other parts of Taipei with ease.
Sufficient Capacity We have selected Chientan Youth Activity Center as our venue because of conference rooms and meeting halls. The largest banquet hall can accommodate more than 800 people. With 240 seats on the upper deck, delegates are able to join in only some parts of plenary without disturbing the process. High quality AV equipment is guaranteeing efficient and fruitful plenary. While Besides, there are 32 other conference rooms for sessions, training and SWGs, which gives us a flexible capacity ranging from 20 to 300 people. There are also has plenty of public area and extra rooms being preserved during the whole period; Chientan Youth Activity Center has everything we need for SWGs and sessions.

All in One Spot One of the best part of Chientan Youth Activity Center is that the lodgings are also part of the facility, which means our delegates will only need 2 minutes to walk from their bedroom to their conference rooms. The lodging comes in a variety of two-person, four-person and sixperson suites, and they are enough to host up to 1000 people in total. All the rooms and public areas of Chientan Youth Activity Center are also guaranteed to have wireless internet connection. Moreover, sufficient and nutritious food with varieties choices will be provided. Meals will mainly be served as buffet to meet different needs. Last but not least, to ensure a fruitful and disturbance-free GA, booking the whole venue and accommodation is considered.
Other Services Other services such as luggage storage, ATM, safety deposit boxes, self-serve laundry, currency exchange, tourist information, mailbox and CafĂŠ are also provided in the activity center. Chientan Youth Activity Center is the perfect venue for our General Assembly due to its excellent location in our capital city, beautiful environment and convenient transportation; for besides partaking in the daily events of the August Meeting, we would also like our delegates to fully take the opportunity to sightsee and experience all the things Taiwan has to offer!
