AHG END-OF-YEAR AWARD CEREMONY SUCCESS STORIES AHG End-of-Year Award Ceremonies are a special time for Troops, often the most-anticipated event of the Program Year! Much like graduations and other celebrations this spring, End-of-Year Ceremonies were forced to take on a different look. But AHG Troops are nothing if not resilient! Troop leaders across the country got creative and made the most of the ceremonies, keeping the spirit of fun alive for the girls despite the unfortunate circumstances! Many Troops, like IA2016, hosted drive-through ceremonies, while Troops like KY7070 integrated a modified, sociallydistanced flag ceremony into the celebration. VA1318 even gave girls the chance to hop out of the car and walk across the AHG Creed Word Bridge to commemorate girls advancing to the next Program Level! CT2016 got creative in capturing the event by using a zoom lens, photographing each girl’s special moment from a safe distance. AHG girls are blessed to have such creative and dedicated volunteers to make this unpredictable year’s end such a special and memorable time!
