MANAGER’S MESSAGE
A Few Reminders
File of Life: Now that Spring is almost here, it’s a great time to be sure you have a File of Life form at the reception desk and your current information is up to date. This program provides EMS with vital medical information that can be lifesaving. Updating this form is essential because many of our residents’ medical conditions, medications, and family contact information change frequently. If you need more assistance, please call.
Lifeline: Get access to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at the push of a button. Are you interested in learning more? I have collateral and $50 coupons in my office. Having this device on your person has saved lives in this building!
Pest Control: Terminex comes bi-monthly. Please let me know if you find any pests in your residence, and they will treat them.
Guests & Vendors: Your safety is our priority! We strive to keep uninvited people from wandering around the property. When you are expecting guests or vendors, we ask that you please make sure you call the front desk in advance to let us know when to expect them. We will always call you for approval if you have not notified us beforehand. If, for some reason, we cannot reach you, they will be turned away if we have not been given prior authorization to let them in.
Ladies' Lunch: Wednesday, March 6
Men's Lunch: Wednesday, March 20 Depart 11:30 AM RSVP in the mail room; please indicate if you are able to drive (Yes/No).

KNOW YOUR NEIGHBORS
Meet Geoff Povlitz
Geoff Povlitz came to The Marbella with a wealth of knowledge and talent. Geoff grew up in beautiful Detroit, Michigan, with his father, mother, and two brothers. Now, they enjoy living in our tropical paradise.
Daily, Geoff naturally brings out the best in us with his handsome smile, soothing voice, and peaceful attitude; he is truly a blessing. He is gentle, strong, and always eager to help our wonderful residents.
One of Geoff's favorite memories is seeing the Grand Canyon and the Meteor Crater as a child in 1988. Of course, it was so hot that his family made a point of utilizing the pool during their trip. They also visited an Indian reservation, which was very educational.
While still in high school, Geoff's choir group was chosen to sing on stage at Carnegie Hall on Broadway in New York City under the baton of John Rutter, founder of the Cambridge Singers.
–Sandra McDaries
Geoff was the first to obtain John's autograph on his music book in 1992.
While attending college in Tallahassee, Geoff attended a football game with his younger brother, Jack, at Doak Campbell Stadium at Florida State University. It was Sebastian Janikowski's debut, who went on to play for the Oakland Raiders and is known as the kid with the golden leg. It was the best football game Geoff ever attended!
Geoff furthered his education at Florida State University, making the Dean's List in 1998, majoring in information systems with a minor in communication. He also took digital design classes at Rasmussen College for two years, making the Dean's List and honor roll four times each during 2012-2014.
Despite life's many curve balls, Geoff is stronger than ever.
Fun Fact: Geoff gets along so well with the dogs here because he once had a toy poodle named Remington!
