Among the buildings of the Atarés urbanisation, the media library then becomes the tool responsible for training future generations for this new information age, with the aim of containing and disseminating knowledge. Undoubtedly, the bay becomes its perfect setting, as a terrain that begs to be regenerated and adapted to new technologies, to new social dynamics. Atarés gives the project a historically defined identity and inserts it within an exquisite landscape in which the green mountain, the Elevado and the sea overlap.
The building aims to act in terms of architectural conditions by providing a link with the programme of the block and institutions that exist in the city and the creation of a sustainable infrastructure that takes advantage of the benefits of the surroundings. It is also of notable interest to deal with the lack of knowledge regarding the use of new technologies and not to lose the opportunity to maintain and exploit the significant elements or those with heritage value that contribute to confer a new identity to the area.
Among the problems faced by the project, the ones that stand out the most are the lack of knowledge of new information media, restricted and limited access to information and technology, dogmatic education, social segregation, lack of opportunity for the entrepreneurial population.

The proposal then focuses on how to deal with these urban voids within a compact grid in such a way that it adapts to the needs of the inhabitants of this area and at the same time of other types of users.
Due to the scarcity of public spaces in Centro Habana, it is proposed to generate a typology of public building as permeable and accessible as possible, welcoming all types of users and a variety of activities on a small scale.
Achieve a transparency different from the compactness of the rest of the area, reinforcing only the horizontal planes. These offset platforms create an internal dynamism and serve to provide different visual angles to the seafront.
With the aim of creating public spaces that are developed at different levels, a walking circulation is sought. Monotonous routes are avoided. The building’s circulations are conceived as a kind of promenade, so that it is possible to pass through the different spaces in a continuous manner.

Prof. Jorge Peña DíazTaking into account the current situation of the neighbourhood and the Urban Regeneration proposal, in which Egido Street is the commercial axis of the neighbourhood, it can be seen that a large part of the economic and social development of the area is in the hands of the self-employed. In continuity with the vision of the area, focused on a recycling strategy, the insertion of a Productive Recycling Building is proposed, with an experimental character and to offer a varied range of urban services that can promote new creative and environmentally sustainable economies that stimulate local economic development. The new insertion is intended to function as a centre of cohesion, where commerce mixes directly with production. To achieve this relationship it is proposed to create three production workshops, each specialising in different materials: 1-Paper and Cardboard, 2-Glass and Metals, and 3-Plastics; these will be directly connected to a central hall where the products made will be marketed and put on display. Interspersed with the workshops are production yards where vegetable products such as flowers and vegetables will be harvested and produced, which can be sold and marketed in the market and florist’s shop located in the same street as the insertion.

This project seeks to create a school that responds to a learning process different from the traditional one, in which knowledge is transmitted by dictating certain information. In this project, spaces are created where the conditions are offered, operating environments for knowledge to emerge from within the individual. Architectural pieces are created so that individuals can meet in groups or study separately, concentrating books and other work materials on shelves that divide the general space from the space where knowledge is consolidated with the teachers, who in turn continue studying. It is not a school where the teacher comes in to give a class, but where everyone is learning at their own pace and according to their interests. Thus the school functions as a platform with furniture and materials that dynamize the learning process, such as structures with curtains. It is also divided by a general space for the students, and a space behind the shelves with the teachers, in which the students enter according to their interests. In the mesanini are the workshops, with more specific activities.
The project also consists of a day care and dining room, and green spaces, such as a garden with playgrounds, another operational environment, and on the roof there are flower beds for botany and agriculture projects. The dining room and day care are located in volumes perpendicular to the school and support the volume that carries the teachers’ housing. Thus they are directly connected through terraces to the workshop areas.

This was a project done for a landscaping elective. The idea was how to intervene in the area in front of the Faculty of Arts. The exteriors of the Hochschule Wismar campus are very disconnected spaces, and it is easy to get lost in the Campus or not feel like one big system. The project seeks to connect the public spaces of the axis that connects Philipp-Müller-Straße with the little wood. Because these spaces are arranged between arts and engineering faculties, they need a simple infrastructure to be able to hold presentations and exhibitions, as well as material markets. Therefore, it is proposed to connect these public spaces with a red tape that changes its configuration according to the scenario required to be carried out.

This is a project designed to be built in Ibarra, it is my proposal, the built project contains ideas of this as the furniture. The main assignment was to create a building where practical workshops can be given and have a laboratory for high school and university students, this project must be flexible and easy to assemble. This proposal locates the central laboratory, in such a way that the delimiting walls with the neighboring workshops are made up of flexible furniture, easy to assemble, and as the activities change, this delimiting panel of the laboratory changes (since the laboratory will always be in use, but the seasonal workshops). The bathrooms and the small kitchen are located as a piece of furniture behind the laboratory. The building does not rest directly on the ground and is framed by polycarbonate folding doors. The goal is for the furniture and the building to serve as a support for the program it houses, and at the same time be open to the landscape in which it is inserted.
