anaheim's public showcase of local artist Center Gallery The Center Gallery is a hidden gem within the Downtown Anaheim Art District. This art gem is located within the beautiful Downtown Anaheim Community Center at 250 E. Center Street. The Gallery highlights the talents of selected visual artists and features mixed media and community-friendly works of art throughout the year. The Gallery is operated by the Community Services Department’s Cultural Arts team and collaborates with the Anaheim Cultural & Heritage Commission in the selection process for potential artists to display their visual arts. The ANAHEIM DUCKS, in partnership with KABOOM! and the Anaheim Community Services Department, provided design assistance, resilient surfacing, and staff effort totaling over $232,000 to build a two new playgrounds at Peter Marshall Park. Portos Bakery, Northgate Gonzalez Markets, Starbucks provided water, coffee, sweet pasteries, fresh fruit, and snacks to keep Love Anaheim and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater AnaheimCypress volunteers and staff nourished. The City of Anaheim Fire Department provided an ambulance and two paramedics during the four-day build and the Anaheim Community Foundation contributed $15,000 to Kaboom for this project. During the holidays donations for the Project S.A.Y.
