• Park Rangers are part of the Community Services Department and patrol all 65 Anaheim parks and most trails. • Rangers work 7 days a week, including holidays. • Park Rangers conduct over 40,000 patrols each year, which equates to 5 trips around the earth annually. • Park Rangers are CPR, First Aid, and AED certified and responded to 167 requests for assistance by the public in 2020. Anaheim Parks have over 550,000 visitors each year and Park Rangers make contact with as many patrons as possible.

SUMMER DAY CAMP
for Children Ages 6-12 ADDED LOCATION! CampVenture day camp operates Monday-Friday and is filled with FUN and ADVENTURE for children ages 6-12 years old. CampVenture is supervised by trained Recreation Leaders and offers a wide variety of outdoor activities, sports and crafts geared toward each week’s theme, a wheels days (campers can bring their scooters, skateboards or skates), excursions and live entertainment. Camp T-shirts are provided to each camper on the first day of camp. CampVenture is offered at two convenient locations, Center Greens Park, which is adjacent to the Downtown Anaheim Youth Center and Peralta Park June 14 - 18 (Week #1)

Each 3-week session provides teen counselors with valuable leadership training while leading campers in games, activities, and crafts. Youth Basketball League Our program focuses on player skill development, physical fitness, and building team spirit in a fun and safe environment. League is nine weeks long beginning the week of June 21 and includes seven games played on Saturdays. Each player will receive a jersey and participation award. All games and practices are held at the East Anaheim Gymnasium. Player Evaluations (Mandatory): Sunday, June 5, anytime between 9:00 am-10:45 am. Practice day and times will be assigned after player evaluations. Practice Days: Monday (4-5pm, 5-6pm, 6-7pm, 7-8pm or 8-9pm) Tuesday (4-5pm or 5-6pm) or Friday (4-5pm, 5-6pm, 6-7pm, 7-8pm or 8-9pm). OLDER ADULTS PROGRAMS SENIOR WHEELS TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM FOR ANAHEIM SENIORS The Senior Wheels Transportation Program provides Anaheim residents, age 60 and over, with a safe and low-cost transportation service! As a program participant, you may use this transportation service to travel within a 10-mile radius of your home in the City of Anaheim. Use the transportation service to meet your important scheduled doctor’s appointments or your weekly shopping or other personal errands. Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance, are on a firstcome-first serve basis and are based on availability. To ensure everyone’s health and safety, the City of Anaheim and its partnering agencies will follow all CDC and State of California guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants are required to follow these guidelines while using this service. Availability and hours are subject to change.
