SabaKarim Khan is an author, award-winning documentary filmmaker and educator, who read Social A nthropology at the U niversity of O xford and works at N YU A bu D habi Khan?s debut novel, Skyfall, was published by Bloomsbury and she is a contributor to the recently launched anthology, W ays of Being: Creative N on-fiction by Pakistani W omen She is a columnist for Khaleej Times and her writing, interviews and talks have appeared in The Guardian, BBC, The Independent, the Emirates Literature Festival, Lahore Literary Festival, N YU A D Institute, Gulf N ews, The N ational, W asafiri, H uff Post, Verso, LU M S, Think Progress, D A W N , The Friday Times and Express Tribune. Khan?s doc-film, Concrete D reams: Some Roads Lead H ome, produced by the D oha Film Institute (D FI), secured official selections and won awards at film festivals in N YC, Paris, Berlin, Toronto, U SA , Sweden and India Before joining the A cademy, Saba worked as Country M arketing and Public A ffairs H ead at Citigroup Born in Karachi, she now lives in A bu D habi with her husband and two daughters
