The Atlantic Roadracing League New Participant Workshop A speaking engagement for new members of ARL for 2014

Introduction: A little about my background, and how I got involved with motorcycle road racing here in Atlantic Canada and Beyond. What ARL Does‌ We Organize and Promote all the Motorcycle Road Racing Activities in Atlantic Canada. This involves Regional races, National races, High Performance Riding Schools, and Public Track Days. What ARL Does Not Do‌

Our Theory, Our Goal:

Get more spectators to the track more spectators equals more people aware the races exist more public awareness equals more opportunities for sponsors more sponsors equals more racers

Getting Started - Competition Successful completion of a High Performance Riding Academy with an instructor’s reference. Getting Started – Track Day No mandatory requirements, however riders are encouraged to attend a riding academy or private academy prior to attending track days. Getting Started – Riding Academy A clear understanding of how to operate a motorcycle. Our riding academies are not schools to learn how to ride a motorcycle, they are courses to gain better skills to help you ride much better on the street or participate in competition.
