INTRO Dear all, I joined the Teezily team one year ago and I can assure you with absolute certainty that... at Teezily you never get bored! Production is that fantastic universe that acts in the shadows but works day and night to provide you with a user-friendly platform, a quick service and the best quality products for your customers. And we want to talk about the fact that we are connected 7 days a week with our fulfillment centers in France and overseas! Multi-tasking, concentration and problem-solving are our leitmotivs and key-values. It’s an operations manager’s job to make sure an organisation is running as well as it possibly - and beyond the limits! - can, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of both sellers and buyers. It is not “only” about monitoring the activities of our warehouses and customer service to ensure a satisfied clientele. Indeed, part of my job implies communicating with all the departments of the company: sales, legal, tech, communication, and customer support. We have to keep the other managers updated on recent developments, such as new pricing, new products, new shipping countries or delivery methods (and so much more). Furthermore, our sales team is giving us YOUR feedback and suggestions in order to improve your experience as a seller on teezily. com: therefore, we put all our efforts in developing new features and in addressing all the issues that can help you to fulfill, ehm, CUSTOMIZE your dreams!

Double seller interview Xuan Hoang VIETNAM
This month we had the chance to talk with one of our TZ superstar from Vietnam. We strongly suggest you to read his story, because he has a lots of tips and insights for a successful business in this dynamic scenario.
y What was the niche of your ver first Teezily Campaign??
My first campaign on Teezily was about the niche Hunting. I spotted that idea on Facebook and I immediately felt in love with it. Later I found out that it was a very good quote that could be applied to many other niches. Can you briefly describe your day as a «seller»?
When did you start your Teezily journey?
I got to know about T-shirt business a long time ago, but did not have much success. I tested a few campaigns which did not produce any profit. Then in March 2016, I decided to turn my focus on T-shirt marketing again. Having seen a fierce competition in the American market, I chose Teezily to seek out customers in Europe. Since then, I have never regretted my decision. e? Do you remember your first sal
Eat - Sleep - Teezily - Repeat! What are your suggestions for the Teezily team?
Teezily has a great team, who always work hard to build such a platform like the one that we have today. I look forward to a more stable and user-optimized website, which will help to boost our conversion rate and gain more loyalty from sellers. Last but not least... which product you would love to see on our platform?
Many products, anything that can be Printed on demand :) My priority would be canvases and posters. They are selling very well in the US market.
I got my first product sold right on my very first campaign. It was an excellent feeling to have that first order, the other sellers used to laugh about it saying that it is like losing your virginity :D Yep, an unforgettable milestone. What keeps you motivated?
I want to make a lot of money to improve my family’s quality of life. That keeps me motivated everyday. With the T-shirt business, I can work the style that I like, and still have time to do what I have always dreamed of. What are your goals and expectations for this year?
I always try to be able to think bigger and perfect myself. To become a better ME, that is my biggest goal for now.

TIPU BANGLADESH
He is our ambassador for the Bangladesh community, a digital marketing expert and a team-player! He told us how networking and the power of the community will definitely help you to… customize your dreams.
Brief introduction: Where do you come from? Where do you live?
How do you feel about your new role at Teezily as A
What do you study?
Country Manager?
I am Tipu Sultan from Chittagong, Bangladesh. I am passionate about Online Marketing and a student of BBA at the National University of Bangladesh. ? How did you hear about Teezily
I found the link to the Teezily website on a question & answer website. For how long have you been a part of this family?
For about a year and a half. After all this time, I often talk and exchange with the TZ seller managers. They are really good & frankly they always help us to build our strong community. When was your first ever success? How did you react?
My first success was in September 2016 & it wasn’t an outstanding goal, but I remember that it changed my life. I think I sold 20 unit products for the first time: that was the very beginning of my journey. Then I realised that all the knowledge I gained during my academic career were really useful in order to launch a successful business on this platform: thus, I started to strongly believe in this opportunity and my sales began to increase. What are your goals for the future?
Becoming a millionaire in very short time.
I am very happy and also proud to get a chance to help our Bangladesh community & also our Bangladeshi sellers. I believe that you just need a special, unique idea… and then it is easy to reach your goals with Teezily. It can change your life, your lifestyle, give you a name and fame, give you infinite opportunities. And I will put all my efforts into building a strong, large community of sellers. How do you plan on helping the Bangladesh community?
First, I am helping sellers to improve their growth strategies and boost their sales. I am also organising some training programs and sessions about Teezily from A-Z (like-niche selection / design / marketing / promotion, etc.) with other sellers. We are all trying to teach them step by step how to be successful on this platform. Furthermore, I am organizing some seminars & networking events in our country, to enlarge our Teezily community. Advice for a beginner?
Do not start by targeting multiple markets, with different niches, and different promotion strategies. Just focus on what you are really good at. I believe that everyone has a special knowledge about an audience or a market. Try to develop your passions. Never waste your time. Time is really important for us. And Finally Do not run for the money, let the money run for you, through your good work.

Black Friday & Cyber Monday Tips to maximise your sales Black Friday and Cyber Monday go together like turkey and gravy! These two retail events, which are linked to the Thanksgiving celebrations in the U.S., not only kick off the Holiday shopping season with 30 percent of annual retail sales occurring between Black Friday and Christmas, according to the Balance, but also have been progressively linked to e-commerce in recent years. The answer as to why online shopping has been playing a more important role is simple. People prefer the comfort of their homes in company of their laptop to queuing up in front of the shops during the night before the shop doors open and the craze begins, especially on Black Friday. This trend has also led to a different phenomenon as e-commerce platforms such as Amazon or Asos started their Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales as early as Thanksgiving eve to bank on people wanting the best deals before everyone else.
Brace yourselves! Black Friday is coming! But when? Black Friday

Monday after the Thanksgiving weekend
Let’s talk numbers! In 2016, both Black Friday and Cyber Monday broke the record number for sales in the U.S. compared to recent years. According to the American National Retail Federation a total of 154 million consumers spending on average $290 per person shopped on Black Friday in 2016. The online spending during the five-day period from Thanksgiving Day through Cyber Monday reached its’ record high of $12.8 billion. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are clearly great opportunities for you to cash in on the pre-holiday shopping game. Keep on reading for 5 tips how to maximise your sales for Black Friday and Cyber Monday and a detailed recap of the ins and outs of these two important retail events.

5 Tips to Conquer the Ultimate Shopping Craze 1. Communication is key Make sure to communicate the sales period clearly: At what time does the sale open? When does it close? What are the specifics? Post the information on your social media channels starting as soon as possible. It is important to repeat the information to make sure your customers know exactly what your offer is about. In addition, do not forget to update your landing pages as early as possible to make your products and offers look as appealing as possible and to get a higher SEO ranking. Promoting your campaign to international markets but not sure how to translate your slogans? The following link provides useful promotional sentences in different languages. https://goo.gl/w4HcxD
2. Tik tok, the Black Friday clock is ticking - Best purchasing hours In comparison to recent years the current trend is to start your Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales extravaganza earlier. Deals tend to start on Thanksgiving evening and go on until Cyber Monday evening. To still create special incentives to buy, it is important to create momentum with special, additional deals on the actual Black Friday and throughout the weekend and to finish it off with final Cyber Monday offers that nobody can resist. Come Monday you still should change up your strategy as most people go back to work after their lovely weekend. According to The Balance 75 percent of shoppers immediately dive into the sales first thing Monday morning. 25 percent shop during lunch (between 12 and 2 PM) and approximately 34 percent shop in the evening. You should think about your customer base and who you want to target. The most important objective is to offer deals which no customer can resist.
3. How to create discounts on Teezily Teezily offers its sellers three kinds of discounts on a campaign: free shipping, percentage and monetary discount. It takes you only 3 simple steps to add a discount to your campaigns: Step 1: Go to TZ Dashboard and select ‘Promotions’ Step 2: Create a ‘Promo CODE’ by clicking on ‘generate’ Choose discount type (= free shipping, monetary or percentage).
Select the amount and expiration date.
Activate promotion by clicking on ‘Add’.
14
OCTOBER / NOVEMBER - TEEZILY POST
Step 3: Add this code to the campaign URL (e,g., https://www.teezily.com/yourcampaign?pr=PROMOID) Keep this in mind! • Reward former clients by offering them a special discount for a new campaign related to their interests. Be smart and use the ‘Message Buyers’ tool to communicate with your customers. • Discounts are great for retargeting ads! Are there people who engaged with your ad but did not buy? Retarget them with a discount and ‘recover’ the sale.
4. Which discounts are appreciated most among customers? As we explained already in our infographic, you as a seller are able to provide your customers with 3 kinds of discounts from the Teezily website. This comes in handy with the craze that is created around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Several studies on consumer behaviour show that ‘free shipping’ seems to have the greatest pull for customers. Especially on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the possibility to score a great deal with a discount of 30% off with additional free shipping can catapult your sales up to Thanksgiving cloud nine.
5. Make a difference - US vs. European market We can all agree that Black Friday and Cyber Monday play a very important role throughout the American and European markets. What you as a seller have to keep in mind, is that there are still differences between the markets. Nowadays Black Friday and Cyber Monday are part of US culture and the Thanksgiving celebrations and have been for decades. In Europe on the other hand, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are fairly new concepts which have been introduced in recent years but still promise to be established further in the future. When targeting the European market, it is important to look at each country on its own, to consider particularities and to change your strategy accordingly. Even though Black Friday and Cyber Monday will remain to be the key growth drivers of holiday spending in Europe, here are the biggest days for online shopping in Europe according to countries sourced by Adobe Digital Insights:

10 Marketing tactics for the Holiday Season
The Holiday season represents the metaphoric (and literal) gold mine for every seller: we cannot mention all the international events and national celebrations that will indeed boost your sales (well, you can always check out our calendars in this edition). However, the marketer’s dream can turn into a nightmare if you are not prepared to face an intensive selling and advertising period. A successful digital marketing strategy cannot be realized overnight, and without an extensive knowledge of all the tools and features that will help you in becoming a print-on-demand authority. You should bear in mind that many competitors will launch their advertising campaigns, therefore you should better adjust your targeting strategy and budget. You might check the following advice that will help drive your Holiday campaigns.
#1
Retain your existing clients with our e-mail Marketing tool : Message Buyers
Leads can be divided into two categories: warm and cold. When you target a specific demographic audience (by gender, age, country and so on) you are promoting content for a cold lead, i.e. people who do not necessarily know your brand or have not ever bought one of your products. According to Marketing Metrics, “The probability of selling to a new prospect is 5-20%. The probability of selling to an existing customer is 60-70%.” To increase your chances of selling more, target your warm leads: those who already bought your products. Message Buyers, Teezily’s exclusive e-mailing feature, enables you to promote your new campaigns and discounts directly from your Dashboard. With this tool, you can send personalized messages to all of your buyers. You can also create “groups”, gathering clients according to niches. Have you considered warning your buyers about your “Black Friday” discount via e-mail using the proper advance notice? “Message Buyers” makes it easy.

OCTOBER / NOVEMBER - TEEZILY POST
#2
Temporarily increase your Advertising budget on Facebook
But still, cold leads matter! If you aim at targeting these potential buyers you will need to increase your advertising budget of course: during the Holiday sales, this is an option that you have to consider to gain more buyers. Facebook gives you the opportunity to run various Advertising campaigns on different supports. You can launch an ad on mobile news feeds, desktop news feeds, right column, and Instagram. Always keep in mind that your ads and calls to actions are likely to perform differently on desktop than they would on mobile. So we highly recommend you to keep your desktop and mobile ad campaigns completely separate! Keeping them separate allows you to optimize your ads, bids, and conversions depending on the device. If you are using the Power Editor to design your banners and ads, then you can choose the device targeting in the ad set menu.
#3
Get the most out of Facebook Remarketing tool
Any potential customers who have visited your page from any traffic source, but did not convert, are likely to compare prices and products. Maybe they have visited your campaign page, they loved your ugly Christmas sweater design but they are thinking “well, it’s not Christmas yet, I will wait”. They’re in the research phase and are trying to get the best possible deal. Facebook Remarketing is a magic tool that allows you to target people who have visited your website in the past. These are the main steps to setup a Remarketing pixel :
1
Go to your FaceBook Advertising Manager
2
Then Click on “Audiences”
3
Go to
4
“Custom
Select
Audience”
“Custom
and “Website
Combination”
Traffic.”
Tips: Inside this category, put your campaign URL excluding the “thank_you” page and select 180 days (so that you are not wasting money on people that have already converted).

OCTOBER / NOVEMBER - TEEZILY POST
Create short videos adverts
Videos represent an outstanding engagement content format, therefore they can be a fundamental tool towards building a strong community. The key is to create a short, impactful clip (10 seconds is enough): we strongly suggest you to find THE powerful message in the first two seconds of the video (like “Best idea for your grandpa’s gift” ). At the same time, storytelling and soundtrack (check Jamendo or Audio Network) are key-elements and, if you want to create viral content, be creative ! Use an ironic or funny catchy slogan. An added benefit? You can retarget video views everyday for up to one year after the original posting.
#5
Use Carousel Ads
If your (potential) customers seem to respond well to a series of product images (and this is also the chance for you to sponsor several products with one shot), you can combine those images into a single ad with the carousel ad. This is a recent ad type that allows you to show more than one mock-up at once within a single ad, allowing you to cross-sell complementary products, or even retarget customers who click through to your campaign but do not click on “add to cart”. An Adobe study showed these ads are more cost efficient per acquisition, saving you up to 35% in cost per click because of higher engagement. And they can boost your click through rate between 50 to 300%.
#6
Increase your Advertising budget during the Holiday Season
Competition is getting stronger and stronger, and you need to invest yourself and also your money if you want to enhance your brand awareness and scale up your sales. By increasing your daily budget, you allow Facebook to bid more for your target action, and show more ads. November offers you several chances to increase your daily budget and set your promotions on
OCTOBER / NOVEMBER - TEEZILY POST
19
fire: Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the Christmas campaigns, the Winter season that is also spreading in the South of Europe…
#7
Make the Holiday Rush Work for You
You know how timing is crucial for marketers during the Holiday season, a fact that smart advertisers incorporate into all their campaigns well in advance, and appealing to prospects’ desire to make the holidays as stress-free as possible is one of the most powerful tools at your disposal. If you are launching your Christmas campaigns in October/November, you should well emphasise that your customers will receive your items in a short time. On the other hand, we are going to communicate the Christmas campaign deadlines to you shortly: you should respect them if you want your buyers to have their gift under the tree, that is why we are talking to you about Santa even though winter has not arrived yet. You need to be prepared, and sponsor your product a month before. Everything about your campaigns, from your ad copy to the imagery you use on Social, should reiterate the misery of the Holiday rush, and how buying your product in just 3 clicks will guarantee an excellent service and a prompt delivery. Avoiding the crowds in the shops on Christmas Eve: this is the message you should communicate heavily!
#8
Create a sense of urgency
Manufacturing a sense of urgency on your campaign pages is a highly effective way to push hesitant buyers over the line and convert. There are several ways to do this. Some sellers include countdown timers on their pages that tell customers exactly how much time they have left to take advantage of a time-sensitive offer. Others include banners promoting specific offers, such as free shipping and discounts on their ads or social networks.
#9
Find the right keywords
Sure, you are always going to have your core slogans, but it is vital to capitalize (and bid) on seasonal searches and other timely trends. One way to do this is by using Google Trends and other similar online marketing tools to identify new keywords that can breathe life into your Holiday campaigns. Instagram and Twitter also offer golden opportunities to know relevant hashtags and trends. Making tenuous connections between your core terms and trending topics for the sake of capturing largely irrelevant traffic - that probably will not convert- should not be a part of your Holiday marketing strategy; on the other hand, it is definitely worth revisiting your keywords before the Holiday season begins in earnest to see if there are not some opportunities waiting for you that you have overlooked.
#10 Get the Christmas Look! (Almost) everybody loves the Christmas Spirit, the elves, singing “All I Want for Christmas”, the snowflakes, cakes and candies and so on … The digital marketing scenario is more and more visual, and a nice graphic can lead to new selling opportunities. Therefore, you should restyle your pages and add holiday-related content (also bearing in mind the different international events, our calendars will help you to walk safely through the festive jungle). Happy sales!

10 Tips for: The Ugly Christmas Sweater It’s the most ugly time of the year! Yes, you did read that correctly and haven’t had one too many cups of Christmas punch already! The truth is that ‘Ugly Christmas Sweater’ season is right around the corner and behind it stands a 5 million dollar business which has been growing season after season after this trend originally started in 2012. Being all about thrifting old vintage sweaters in its early days, the ‘Ugly Christmas Sweater’ is now one of the must-have items of the Christmas season with people wanting their sweater to be as personalized to their wishes and characters as it can get. Wondering how to take part in this craze? Here are 10 tips to help you start your ‘Ugly Christmas Sweater’ campaigns.
1.
Christmas Spirit all the way!
Do you think Rudolph, Santa and Frosty the Snowman are only for kids? You are so wrong! A ugly Christmas Sweater gives people from all ages the chance to show off their favourite Christmas character or theme. As always, it depends on how you present the traditional Christmas figures. Some of your customers may be interested in a more ‘naughty’ Santa Claus while others appreciate a more traditional depiction of their beloved present delivery guy. Try to find out what customers want to see on their sweater and be creative! After all, your customers want to win ‘BEST SWEATER’ at their next holiday party!
2.
There is an ugly Christmas sweater for every niche.
Christmas is the holiday that caters to everyone’s tastes. From the notorious gamer to the ambitious hobby chef to that person that is just nuts about sports. You name the niche, there is a Christmas sweater idea right around the corner. Check out this article for amazing ways to come up with a design idea in 5 minutes: https://goo.gl/rjP76h
3.
Baseball jackets are the new Christmas sweaters.
If you have not started a campaign with our new cult product the Baseball jacket yet
then this Christmas is the season to! Why not take the amazing cut of our Baseball jacket and unite it with an amazing ugly (or maybe not so ugly) Christmas design? This will let your products stick out amongst all the ‘basic’ Christmas sweaters and will

let your customers be the trendsetters at every Christmas party. The recommended selling price for this great jacket to be lying underneath everybody’s Christmas tree this year is between 49,99¤ and 54,99¤.

Show what your elves are doing behind the scenes.
Show appreciation for followers by featuring them using your products and interact with other brands who have a similar audience or product. Engagement is key when it comes to Instagram. Comment on photos, share or like. Taking the time to ‘give back’ to your followers and to be active in the community will be rewarded. Your followers also like to see the ‘behind the scenes’ and pictures of customers actually wearing your designs. You can therefore either repost pictures of clients wearing your items or you post pictures of you and/or your team wearing the items you want to promote.

«All I want for Christmas is…»
Make use of the unique Teezily customization tool and let your customers customize your designs to their liking! Customization not only helps you to differentiate your products from those of other sellers but according to a Forbes survey, customers are more connected to a product when they were able to customize it themselves. This will then result in brand loyalty as customers are more engaged with your product then ever.
6.
Sleigh your Facebook ads.
Christmas is all about gift giving and appreciating one and another. This should also be reflected in your Facebook ads. A study, highlighted in the Harvard Business Review, shows that emotions related to happiness are top drivers to cause customers to engage and take action. The aim is to be surprising and truly unique. You therefore should emphasize the Christmas spirit to it’s fullest and think about ads no other seller is running! But how do you stand out in between all those holiday offers and discounts that are floating around the e-commerce market during the holidays? Here are our top tips: • Discounts - Do not create just a clever offer, but also create a product people will actually share and talk about. Do you want to reward people and give an incentive to buy more? Why not use your Teezily discount options? You can offer ‘free shipping’, a percentage off or a discount for a certain amount. Whatever you choose, you will hear the sale bells ringing!

• Donate - Live the holiday spirit and make your customers feel good about purchasing from you. You can simply pledge to donate a certain amount to a cause close to your heart for each product sold or take initiative in another way. This will not only make your customers feel all warm and fuzzy but you as well. • Loyalty & Service - Instead of targeting more price conscious customers, emphasize the mutual trust between you and the customer for example through offering free shipping or create a ‘Holiday Gift Guide’ showing off your products in the best way possible targeted to a certain group of people. This will facilitate the decision process for the customer and build brand loyalty.

Santa respects Trademarks!
At Teezily, we are strongly committed to acting in full respect of third party intellectual property rights and we expect our Christmas elves to do the same! To avoid you harming any third party rights, here is a quick reminder: A trademark is a recognisable symbol, design, word or expression legally registered or established by an individual or an organisation, and is related to products or services of that owner. Unless you have an explicit permission for commercial use from the owners, you are prohibited to use these trademarks. So please be a good elf as it is always better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation.
