NOTICE OF ANNUAL SCHOOL BUDGET MEETING BUDGET REFERENDUM AND ELECTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual School Budget Meeting (Public Hearing) for qualified district residents will be held in the Lake Shore High School Library Media Center, 959 Beach Road, Angola, New York on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual School Budget Referendum and Election for (1) approval of the Annual School District Budget for the 202223 School Year; (2) voting on the purchase of replacement vehicles; (3) the Election of three qualified district residents to the office of Member of the Board of Education; and (4) for the transaction of such other business as is authorized by law, will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., in the Lobby located outside the District Office/Gymnasium of the Lake Shore High School located at 959 Beach Road, Angola, New York 14006. replacement vehicles for use by the District in the transportation of students and general use by the District: two (2) full size diesel-powered 71-passenger school buses at an estimated maximum cost of $133,862.48 each; one (1) full size battery electric powered 71-passenger school bus at an estimated maximum cost of $170,665.97; one (1) 30-passenger gasoline-powered school bus at an estimated cost of $72,570.87; and one (1) gasoline powered 24-passenger 5-wheel chair school bus at an estimated cost of $83,976.90; for a total aggregate maximum cost of $594,938.70; with such aggregate cost to be raised by a tax upon the taxable property of the District to be levied and collected in annual installments as provided in Section 416 of the Education Law, with such tax to be partially offset by State aid available therefore, and, in anticipation of such tax, by the issuance of debt obligations of the District as may be necessary, not to exceed such maximum aggregate cost. No tax levy increase is anticipated for Proposition No. 2. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that applications for absentee ballots may be obtained Monday through Friday, except holidays, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the District Clerk’s Office located at 959 Beach Road, Angola, New York. Internationally-Known Orchestrator Visits Lake Shore

Two days of intense rehearsals with internationally-known film orchestrator Rossano Galante brought Lake Shore's Middle and High School band students to the stage for an outstanding Secondary Band Concert performance. Maestro Galante commended the Lake Shore students on the level of commitment, quality and maturity they brought to the endeavor.

This notice is to inform you that during the 2021-2022 school year it may be necessary to use pesticides in District buildings and on District grounds to meet pest management goals. School Districts are required to keep a list of indi viduals wishing to be notifed at least 48 hours in ad vance of pesticide use at the facilities in which they work or have a child attending classes. If you wish to have your name placed on the 48hour pesticide notifcation list, please stop in the main office of any District building or the District Office and complete the notifcation form. Angola Resident Receives Prestigious Honor

At our recent St. Patrick’s Day dinner, Orchard Park Odd Fellows Lodge 3187 made a special presentation to member Stanley Brown. Stanley, an Angola resident and World War II veteran, was recognized for his 74 years of service to our organization.
