Dear Neighbors, This has been an unsettling time for our country and our community, as we face a public health crisis, the likes of which have not been seen in over one hundred years. COVID-19 has had significant impacts on our national, state and local economies. We have had to learn how to adjust to living life in a new and unprecedented way. I am hopeful that the way in which we live our lives begins to change in the near future. That being said, even prior to COVID-19 becoming an everyday word within our households, the Sturgeon Point Marina has been long overdue for updating and has incurred substantial weather-related damage. I cannot continue to place the existing burden of running the Sturgeon Point Marina on the backs of ALL of the Town of Evans Taxpayers. Now is the time to find alternative solutions to remove this financial weight, while maintaining public access for our beautiful regional asset. Due to the aforementioned circumstances placed upon our Town of Evans Community, the Sturgeon Point Marina Park Facility will be operating differently as we all know it. The information below provides you with the current services available at the Town of Evans Sturgeon Point Marina Park Facility.

Angola Park and Gazebo Committee Constraints on the size of assembled groups and social distancing caused by the coronavirus pandemic has made it necessary to cancel the 11 concerts that were scheduled to be presented at the Gazebo in Angola’s Centennial Park during the summer of 2020. Pictured are the students from the upper room for the school year 1933-1934.
