Hello! It is with great pleasure that I have the privilege of announcing to you that the Central Coast Claims Association is alive and well! We have some new enthusiasm and energy behind re-energizing this longstanding stalwart organization for the South Bay Area.

Local insurance claims associations have served, and continue to serve, a tremendous value to the Property & Casualty Insurance Claims industry.

Since 1958, the Central Coast Claims Association has been the backbone organization for claims industry professionals in the South Bay to: keep abreast of the latest; while providing a venue providing some face time with those with whom they deal on a daily basis.

Our new team is a blend of some very committed longtime members and some “new blood”, effectively working together with the common purpose of re-launching this organization. The group has gone through various ups and downs over the years. We see this as a time to rise up again.

We have a worthwhile and exciting schedule set-up to help us bring folks out to keep this group vibrant and happening.

This month, the CCCA is kicking things off with a two-hour Continuing Education accredited luncheon meeting class on Thursday, May 21st.

Join us at Scott’s Seafood Restaurant - 185 Park Avenue, in downtown San Jose - from noon til 2pm, and receive two (2) California Department of Insurance CE credits.

We are honored to have the ever-popular speaker/instructor Ulises Castellon, from Fire Cause Analysis, leading class entitled “Fire Subrogation - A Practical Guide”. Together with co-presenter Sally Noma, senior associate with the law firm of Jang & Associates, the CDI-approved course will be presented during lunch from noon-1pm, with the second hour running 1-2pm.

Next month, we will have a three hour CE accredited session on Ethics, with certified presenter, Ruth Griffith.

Our plan is to hold a social event in July, before heading to the 22nd Annual Claims Conference of N. California August 10-12.

We even have plans on the table to revive the CCCA Bowling Tournament in October, always a fund raising fun time.

To make this happen, we need your involvement! Please join us, and invite your associates, cohorts, clients and friends to come together and help us make the CCCA all it can be!
