Happy 2016 Everyone! Well, the rumors are true. With a new name, new position, and two beautiful babies; I’m happy to be back as your President of the Central Coast Claims Association! Please join me in thanking and welcoming this year’s Board of Directors: April Wilkinson, of David Morse & Associates, will be this year’s Vice President; Lisa Winn, of Premier Construction is your Secretary'and Shelly Lefore will stay on as our Treasurer. Shelly is still publisher of the Casualty Adjuster’s Guide, but also has a new adventure with Rodan & Fields. Make sure you ask her about it the next time you see her! Ben Dailey, of Engineering Design & Testing, will be our Golf Chairperson and, of course, I will be hosting our annual Bowling tournament. This team, along with Bryan Harrison, has already been hard at work. We will have fewer lunches this year but we are dedicated to a strong presence and a successful year. The calendar is almost complete but we’re always here to listen to new ideas. Come be a part of this amazing association! I for one miss seeing your faces! The February meeting will be a little different than the topics the CCCA has covered in the past! I’m excited to kick the New Year off with featured guest speaker, Mr. Rob Donahue, of VeriClaim. The Topic….. No, we won’t be hearing about construction defect or how not to dry out a floor… This month we will be talking about something everyone should know a little about: FIRST AID! That’s right! Come get the basics because you never know when they’ll come in handy. In fact I have a story to share…. but you’ll have to come to the meeting to hear it!
