The Mountain House Community Services District Board of Directors voted unanimously at the April 12, 2017 board meeting to approve the annexation agreement with Mountain House Investors, LLC, as recommended by LAFCo (Local Agency Formation Commission of San Joaquin County). The an-

nexation is for the “College Park” village area, south of Grant Line, from MH Parkway to near the Delta College @ MH campus.

A key step for any developer coming to Mountain House is the actual annexation of the land, providing access for services from

The evening’s printed program led with the organization’s mission statement: “It is the Mission of the French Camp McKinley Fire District to protect life, property, and the environment through professional emergent and non-emergent services”.

Festivities got underway with the swearing-in, oath-of-office and badge pinning ceremony for newly named permanent Fire Chief, Fred Manding. Mountain House Community Services District Board President, Brian Lucid conducted those duties with honor.

The ceremony then turned to the Department’s Personnel. Swearing-in and oath of office for the entire group, conducted by Chief Manding, covered the spectrum of service levels that represent the department, amongst the 26 men. Designation of “Firefighter of the Year” went to newly promoted Lieutenant, Jowell Tolentino.

“It was a great night, and I’m proud to see how these individuals have grown in their careers and strive to be the best they can for our fire district and for the people we serve,” stated Fire Chief Manding.

“It was an honor to have the CSD board president, Brian Lucid, participate in this event with us,” the Chief continued. “His continual support and encouragement over the past year and a half have helped to make the French Camp McKinley Fire District feel at home in Mountain House.”
