TWO WINS AMONG SUNDAY'S BEST
S Shiho Oyama donated her winnings of $130,000 to the Kumamoto earthquake relief fund.
hiho Oyama and Sung Hyun Park earned wins with G drivers and fairway woods on the Japan LPGA and Korean LPGA tours, respectively (Park, playing a G LS Tec, also won on the KLPGA last week). They weren’t the only PING pros to place high on leaderboards. Brandon Stone celebrated his 23rd birthday with a T2 at the Shenzhen International in China utilizing a G driver. Martin Piller secured his career-best finish on the PGA Tour, a T4 at the Valero Texas Open. And Brooke Henderson, 18, climbed to 5th in the women’s world ranking after her eighth-straight top 10 on the LPGA Tour. Her T6 at the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic came with a G driver and 3-wood.
