ONS figures show food sales fell last month after Euros
F
ood store sales volumes fell by 1.5% in July 2021, down from an increase of 3.9% in the previous month when sales were boosted by the start of the Euro 2020 football championship, new research reveals. Meanwhile, automotive fuel sales volumes fell by 2.9% over the month, its first monthly fall since February 2021, according to the ONS figures.
