‘About me page’ I’m 21 years old undergraduate student of Liverpool John Moore’s University, born and raised in Egypt. I believe in the duty we have with others and the power of architecture as a medium of change in society. I believe that buildings are meant to lived in and used simultainously it’s inspiring when the design of the human mind breaks the existing boundaries. Also, while the life of an architect may appear overwhelming at first, but those long hours of study pay off once you see your imagination come to life.

Concept In this project, my aim is to bring the public and politics together in order to build a more democratic society while also giving the North of England more power. My concept is to divide my design into three different conceptual layers. Past, Present and future which is represented by information, Reality and fictional. The Ground floor represents the past which is all about historic information so the Exhibition, library and the archive were placed there. First and second floor represents the reality or present which is all about the current affairs so the offices, meeting rooms, auditorium and Debating chamber were added there as after this its all about imagination which represents the future or changes that happens in the future according to the descions that has been made in the debating chamber which have an impact on the building shape. That is why some parts of the building were extruded to create the third floor to see how the building can change in the future according to politics change.

Concept My proposal is a knowledge centre that educate people more about climate change and specialy its relation to rainfall . My aim for the project not only letting people know more about rainfall but also interacting with it instead of hiding from it.Following the stream is the name of my project as water being the dominant element in the design which directs people through a journey filled with knowledge and mesmerizing path interacts with nature which connects the five di􀁾erent masses. The first mass (Reception) where visitors starts getting all the information about the journey they are about to start. Also, getting information about the Fell Foot. The second mass (Exhibition space) where people get general information about climate change and rainfall and waht global warming have to do with the amount of rain we get today. Moreover, Wanting people to interact with rain instead of hiding from it a rain installation was added in the exhibition space where people can walk under rain and enjoy the experience without getting wet. The Third & Fourth mass ( Courtyard & Laboratory) Having a public space opposite to the lab so it can be visible for people to have a look into the lab and see the scientists doing research and experiments, Also giving the scientists a private space so they can fell can they have a bit of privacy. Growing orange trees and grapes in the greenery area in the middle wanted to bring some new species to the site also grapes will give natural shading in summer and allow sun to enter space in winter to heat the space. The Fifth mass ( Multi-use hall) the last destination of the journey . This hall is mainley used as auditorium where scientists give lectures about all the upgraded information about rainfall patterns from the researches they have been doing. Using Retractable Seating at the auditorium so when it is not used for lectures or talks it can be used for any other progamming. After exiting the multi-use hall the visitors will face an extraordinary view of the windermere lake and Panoramic view of north located mountain.

Timber Shop

Concept My proposal for this project is three different buildings ,which one of them are the main space which is wood workshop that is placed in the middle of the site and the work that is produced from it is related to the history of the area (Ropewalks). One of the other buildings includes shop and facilities area. The last building is the cafe which is placed in the corner of seel and slater street having ground level as indoor space and the first fl oor as outdoor seating area. Having two gardens one private and the other is public. Public garden include seating area above water. The furniture made in the workshope will be sold in the shop as well as in the public garden so people can experience it before buing or designing their own. Allowing People to visit the workshop in weekends to have a try of designing their own furniture by themselves.
