Space, performer and audience are the main keys for theatre’s plays and ar sts have always struggled to understand it. Space is the struct audience is seated to watch and enjoy the play or where they go to have a cup of coffee or a snack. In contrast, performance has a wide r etc.), but such an event should be embedded in a complex matrix of social concerns and ac ons, all of which “communicate” or contribute Audience is the founda on for all of the above. It is the reason to create a space that will host the performance, and even to create the perf them emo ons like a broken-hearted guy watching a stand-up comedy trying to move one and have some fun or people going to watch an

ure where host performances play on while performers in the back house where they get ready to perform. Moreover, it is the area where the range of types that can be produced and performed on the theatre stage (plays in different types, concerts, opera, dancing shows, stand-ups, e to giving the theatre experience its par cular “meaning” to its par cipants. formance itself. The audience are the people who pay to watch these produc ons for different reasons. Some of them want to go there to clear n opera play because that what they want to watch.

The building is located in the heart of Liverpool and it will follow in the footsteps of the city’s in finding new ways of adop ng to the climate change or even have a good impact on the climate. The environmental strategy’s concept of the building will be the light towers which has been infused by the heritage of the city and it will work in the building to allow sunlight into it in the first place and that’s why its been called the light towers, but even more it can be used to provide ven la on into the building. The building is going to depend on technology to control sun light and to provide energy. In another words, the building is going to be low-energy efficient and sustainable last for long me. The ven la on will be provided naturally. During summer ven la on will be provided by having the windows open allowing cool air into the building and exhausted air can be removed from the building through windows or an openings on the sides of the top head of the light towers, that top heads can be controlled automa cally whenever needed to have the exhausted air to be removed out. But during winter in Liverpool the temperatures will be low due to that the building has been insulated well even more heat will be provided with hot pipes through the light towers as well as it is in a good posi on to divide the heat into the rooms next to it such as the Blackbox I have in the building while in the other theatre, the proscenium theatre in the public wing of the building, cooling will be provided by using the plant room underneath it and exhausted air can be removed through the fly tower in the same way how it will work in the light towers.

In terms of concept, my scheme support the idea of the grouth through nature. The building has been splited to variable sizes of four blocks, each block been located on the site depending on the its needs or its competence. The Studios for Climate Change fanc on is to find solu ons for our future buildings through the ongoing climate changing, as each studio will study a dierent element (water, soil, rain and clouds) and the impact of climate change on them then find a new solu ons to have buildings adobted or even has less impact on the climate. Evenmore, the studios will have a class room for kids and willing to educate them since chiledhood how to prevent more changing in the climate.

The building is located in Hebdonbridge on site located by the riverside where the flood start every year from. The idea was during designing the building is to leave trees in peace while the construc on work going on and have the building only on the spaces where there is no trees. However, as been shown the building is growing through neature and si ng over the rever with a deck that is floa ng during floods and people can go over the floa ng deck and making an advantage of the flood and enjoy the me during the flood instead of paniking

BA Year 2 Semester 2: Library of The Future

Central Library of Aleppo

The building is located in Aleppo, Syria and the chose of the site was due to its concept as my concept was that the library of the future has to create more educated society for the future and due to the war that happening in Syria I could not think in society needs to be gathered and developed more than the people in Syria. The war there has just dispersed them. The building is suppose to celebrate the people’s victory
