Design Programme

My Intentions for Thermatic research was to create a series of facilities that would each create their own kinetic element, Inspired by the previous Essay studies I would design creatting different kinetic experiences for each of the three facilities. place of views and ;ast;y a Exhibition of art, In regards to its situation I decided to keep the natural plain untouched creating a timber

In regards to the kinetics themselves a rotatable pannel eing physically pushed to manage light levels in the exhibition, flowing fabric Lastly I would cut out small openings on the walls of the place of meditation, the idea was to allow shadow to imprint the experience sloped roof dripping down into a opening, this water movement would create a sense of peace and enhance the meditation quality.

The Balance - Intersection of Light and Rhythm

The Balance, located in the city centre, at the intersection of ljmu education centre and Liverpools world museum is concieved balancing actions. The pyramid bring light to the space and create a sense of rhythm/ movement as a key part of the spatial experience.

concieved the idea of balance. Balance between process (Rehearsal) and outcome (Performance). This ambient stage these two experience.

Rural Threaded Revival

‘Rural Threaded Revival’ stems from the porjects key princibles to reunite the viaducts through the bridge and a revival of the green life which has now taken over. The Main ambition of this project is to reunite the viaduct whilst evolving its new found traits. A viaduct now overgrown with plantlife revived. The bridge being of upmost importance as its role being the key factor, threading together the old railline together. Creating this new movement of green . Encourge said path to spread throughout the site . A green path strictly alloacted facing its west face. Side which lacked in green life.
