Year 1 Semester 2 : A Place for Crafting Motorcycle Restoration

7

Joe Morphew 2022 Portfolio

A garage for the restoration of vintage motorcycles which also includes a showroom for the finished motorcycles as well as an accommodation space on the top floor for the mechanics to stay overnight during the weekdays. These visualisations were made in SketchUp near the start of my degree so the standard is not up to what I can achieve now, but it still shows lots of potential.

I have shown a very enthusiastic interest in architecture and the built environment from a very early age and have a strong desire to succeed in this industry. I’m now about to finish my 3rd year, with the intention of completing the total 7 years required to become a RIBA qualified Architect.

Subject: Architecture (BA(Hons))

I consider myself to be hard working, creative, and ambitious, but with a sensible work/life balance. I am currently seeking a work placement opportunity for one year before hopefully starting my Masters degree in September 2023. I also intend to establish a long-term connection with one of Birmingham’s leading architecture practices with the prospect of a future full-time opportunity.
