I am an undergraduate student driven by diligence, and selfmotivation. Some of my interests include sketching, motor racing, skateboarding, and playing guitar. I like to sketch both digitally additional to in a sketch book and I enjoy sketching figures and facades. On occasion I write and record guitar parts for my friends persuing music. My experiences in customer service and team collaboration have honed my listening, organizing, and interpersonal skills. Known for my reliability, punctuality, and professional demeanor, I am committed to excellence in all my engagements. Della Robbia Pottery Museum

Della Robbia Pottery produced architectural and domestic ceramics during the period 18941906. Designs for the ceramics were based particularly on the sixteenth century works of Luca della Robbia but also took inspiration from the British Pre-Raphaelite tradition. The pottery in Birkenhead followed the philosophy of the Arts and Crafts movement, eschewing mass production in favour of handmade pieces.

The new museum building needed to provide gallery spaces to display the collection of Della Robbia ceramics currently housed at the Williamson Art Gallery in Birkenhead. The building also had to house storage for artefacts that are not on display as well as offices for staff and a conservation studio

The Massing concept was developed by looking at historical maps of the area. The 1870s was the last time there was buildings on the site. The measurements of those buildings were used to determain the width of the vaults.

Weather or Not

The project weather or not focused on climate change and how we interperate it.

This design looked to interact with the weather phenmonas. One of the ways it does that is having a pier structure. The building is elevated on the hill side with the idea of lake windemere flood levels eventually reaching the deck level. The first interaction with the building is a space with an open roof that is sheltered from the wind isolate precipertaion as sensory feature piece. The idea is to also subconciously make people aware to the weather current at the time (heavy rainfall, heavy snow, sunshine).

REGENERATION TRAINING CENTRE

This project was a mixed-use building that provids training facilities for the public. The building was to be constructed from timber such that in principle it can be taken apart and reconstructed elsewhere, but must also be capable of remaining on site for several years.

The programme responds to local training needs to engage with the local area and the wider city.

Accommodation was to be provided including a cookery school with a dining area for the public, sound recording and video editing studios, an IT training / study area, and a creche where parents attending the centre can leave their young children.

• Coordinating a team of younger staff to tackle high traffic of customers.
