Hello and welcome to Doncaster Racecourse for our first Family Fun Day of the year – the Lincoln Weekend Family Fun Day. We are delighted you’ve joined us here today!

We have a division, so there are 8 races on the card, with the first race at 1:35pm, and our raceday presenter Bobby Beevers and resident tipster will be in the Parade Ring at around 1:00pm to run through the racecard with you and hopefully pick you out some winners!

As always on our Family Fun Days there’s an abundance of FREE entertainment and activities for the whole family to enjoy. In the Exhibition Hall you will find a Circus Workshop, a Kids Disco and Punch & Judy Show, Colouring Station, Facepainting and a Magician! Our friends from Active Fusion are on the Champagne Lawn today hosting some fun activities so make sure you stop by and have a go! Plus, there are fairground rides outside on the Family Lawn (please note – there is a charge for the fairground rides).

There are plenty of circus-themed photo opportunities throughout the site today and circus entertainers for you to enjoy. Please share your photos with us on social media @DoncasterRaces – we’d love to see them!

You are cordially invited to the Coronation Race Evening on Saturday 6th May where we will be celebrating all things Royal and British in commemoration of the coronation of King Charles. As well as the racing, there’ll be a best-dressed King or Queen competition and a ‘right royal disco’ in the Exhibition Hall after racing

HORSE WELFARE COMES FIRST AT DONCASTER

At every race meeting at Doncaster our top priority is the safety and welfare of both horse and rider We have a dedicated team of highly qualified vets and doctors following the action at all times and a horse ambulance in attendance at every meeting.

Use of Screens

It is our policy to erect green screens around any horse requiring veterinary attention. This does NOT reflect the severity of any injury, but does help to provide a calm environment, in which the vet is better able to treat the horse.

Please do not assume the worst if you see screens erected around a fallen horse!
