Welcome to Hereford Racecourse.
At long last the rain has come! The unprecedented dry summer, autumn and more latterly early winter months proved a challenge for many racecourses preparing for the start of their jumps season. A handful of racecourses had to cancel fixtures due to their hard ground and I know that we have never watered so much for so long as we did for our Season opener earlier this month.
A particularly warm welcome and thank you to today’s sponsors for their generous support. You will note that the first race today is sponsored by the Hereford Racehorse Ownership Club. Membership costs just £299 and includes a lease share in Poniente and 50% equal share of prize money, lots of exclusive news and events and ARC membership with free entry to over 500+ racedays For further information please visit www.hereford-racecourse.co.uk and why not start your Christmas shopping early with a membership gift for your loved one!
Few can have escaped the ‘cost of living crisis’and increasing everyday living costs That is why we have introduced the new ‘Day At The Races’ticket offering exceptional value at just £19.50 including admission, racecard, drink and a warm pie which is available to book for all racedays up to 7 days in advance. This value ticket enables racegoers to come and enjoy a day at the races in the knowledge that they don’t have to spend any more that £19.50 to enjoy a little bit of everything that a day at the races has to offer
Enjoy racing today and I hope you will come back again in November when we have three fixtures on 8th, 15th and 23rd.
Best wishes
Davies Executive Director
