Welcome to Hereford Racecourse our Season Finale, Dino Family Fun Raceday!
There is plenty for all to enjoy today, please take a look through the racecard where you will find a timetable of Dinosaur events, and also details on our word search around the course where you can win an Easter treat. All kids activities can be found on the Rusty Bridge Lawn in front of the grandstand facing the racetrack. Don’t miss out on one of our Ranger Training classes, where you will learn the skills needed to tame those cheeky Raptors! We also have colouring stations, fossil finding sand pits, and free face painting.
Looking to our seven-race card that forms the afternoon it is great to see returning winners from this season and we wish all connections the best of luck with their runners. Whilst our racing season is coming to a close, we look forward to welcoming other events here throughout the Summer, including Hereford Pride on Saturday 10th June, and also the return of the Hereford Food Festival on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September. We will then kick racing back off here on Tuesday 17th October, so do get that date in your diary as I’m sure it will be here before we know it
I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their support this season, from our Owners, Trainers, Jockeys & Stable Staff, to our permanent team and raceday staff, and to you the wonderful racing fans
We hope you have a great day with us today.
Best wishes,
Camilla Esling General Manager

YELLOW JACKET made a promising start in this sphere when runner-up at Ffos Las and looks to have been found an excellent opportunity to go one better here off just a 1lb higher mark. Both Ardmayle (second choice) and Lonimoss Bareliere were not at their best last time out but are weighted to have a say if back on their A-games in a handicap where lots have a question mark against them.

I GIORNI impressed with the way she travelled when making a successful handicap debut here and, with the scope for better still, she’s fancied to go in again.Treyarnon Bay looks an interesting handicap debutante for a top yard and Mrs Kinsella is interesting starting out for a new yard.

A few in with chances but LESKINFERE seemed to excel himself from well out of the weights at Market Rasen last week and, back racing from his proper mark in this, he has much more realistic claims of notching a third career success He gets the nod over Just Go For It, who is expected to leave both previous efforts in this sphere behind after a pair of Wincanton victories over timber last month.
