ARADENA is unexposed and she ran well on this surface at Wolverhampton earlier in the month. She’s likely to take another step forward and looks the one to beat. Cayman Moon also ran well on tapeta at Wolverhampton last time and he looks the biggest danger. Masque of Anarchy and Hot Team aren’t out of it either. 1-2-3: 1.ARADENA (IRE) 2.CAYMAN MOON 3.MASQUE OF ANARCHY (IRE) KEY colours

GREAT BRITISH BONUS SCHEME The Great British Bonus (GBB) offers multiple bonuses of up to £20,000 per eligible race for British-bred fillies and mares.
HORSE WELFARE Here at Newcastle Racecourse nothing matters more to us than looking after the horses that make us the North East’s Premier Racecourse. We do everything in our power to ensure that we provide a racing surface of the highest quality and we take every conceivable care to minimise the chances of horses incurring any injury whilst here. Regrettably, as in any highly competitive sport, there are occasions when something goes wrong and horses have to be given the very best veterinary care. There are three Veterinary Surgeons here today to ensure that should any horse need help they will be attended to within seconds of any incident occurring. Their first priority is to make a rapid diagnosis and to help them do this our groundstaff team will erect screens around any horse that needs attention. Once the diagnosis is made, one of our horse ambulances will attend the scene and will transport the horse back to the stables where further treatment and assessment can be undertaken. Occasionally, it may be that the nature of the injury is such that a horse is unable to make a recovery. If this is the case the Veterinary team may take the decision to put the horse down straight away. In these circumstances we should remember that the horse’s welfare comes first and that this option is kindest for the horse. To find out more about our Equine Welfare policy please visit our website www.newcastle-racecourse.co.uk

LONGEST TRAVELLER: KOROPICK trained by C Teague, Wingate, 218 miles. RACE SUMMARY
ALEEF knows how to win and he’s been running well in recent weeks, including over C&D two starts back. He rarely runs a bad race and should go very close here. Lord of The Glen made it six C&D wins here on Friday night and he’ll be a big danger. Somewhere Secret could be interesting on his first run for Rebecca Menzies, particularly if the market speaks in his favour. 1-2-3: 1.ALEEF (IRE) 2.LORD OF THE GLEN 3.SOMEWHERE SECRET KEY
