TARROOB twice went close in all-weather handicaps during the summer and, having been far from disgraced when midfield in a big-field York handicap on the back of a wind op last month, she could well be the answer back on an artificial surface. Sayf Al Dawla is a low-mileage sort who arrives in good form and is feared, ahead of Oz Legend and Starfighter. 1-2-3: 1.TARROOB 2.SAYF AL DAWLA 3.OZ LEGEND (IRE) KEY colours

COPPER MOUNTAIN was easy to back but caught the eye nevertheless when fourth in a big-field nursery at Redcar 8 days ago, coming from further back than the trio that beat her. That effort marked her down as one to be interested in from her basement mark and she earns the vote under Joanna Mason. Midgetonamission who ran well at Kempton recently is next best, ahead of Angels Tale and Winter Siege.

RACE SUMMARY MR TREVOR failed to fire on his sole previous run on this surface, but that was during his 2-y-o campaign and if able to reproduce something akin to this season’s turf form back on tapeta he will surely go close. Sleight posted his best effort yet when third over C&D recently and will be a threat if able to build on that, while One Last Hug and Champagne Supanova are others to consider. 1-2-3: 1.MR TREVOR (IRE) 2.SLEIGHT 3.ONE LAST HUG KEY colours
