We have some great, competitive racing here today, with champion jockey Brian Hughes having several rides. We have some top trainers here with us too including Donald McCain and Brian Ellison, who both have excellent records here at Sedgefield.

INFORMATION

Abandonment

In the event of a race meeting being abandoned before the first race, a full refund will be made If the meeting is abandoned after the first race but before the third, a 50% refund will be made in the same manner as a full refund If the meeting is abandoned after the third race, no refund will be made. Customers must retain their badges, which are date stamped and numbered, in order to obtain a refund, and present or send them to the Racecourse Office from two days after the meeting Alcohol

Excessive alcohol consumption needs to be reported to the Safety Officer, DO NOT confront the individual/s, and the FRG (Fast Response Group/ Security) will deal with the situation. We do reserve the right, in extreme circumstances, either to refuse admission or to eject a person from the racecourse Communications/Mobile Phones

Admission Conditions Of Entry

Entry to the racecourse is subject to the right of the racecourse executive to refuse to admit and/ or to expel, without prior notice, any person whose behaviour is considered to be unruly or unacceptable or is a disqualified person.

• Bringing food and drink into the enclosures other than that purchased at the racecourse is prohibited.

• Racegoers must at all times comply with any conditions, rules and regulations in operation, including the observance of no drinking areas for safety reasons

• There is no formal dress code.

• Lost and stolen badges will not be replaced.

• Transfers to enclosures may be possible on the day, subject to availability.
