Proud Champions of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme All of our member racecourses participate in the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme, a nationwide initiative for those with disabilities that may not be visible. A sunflower lanyard discretely signals to staff that the person wearing the lanyard may need additional support or a little more time when attending racedays. Guests are welcome to bring their own lanyards or to register in advance by contacting the racecourse they’ll be attending. Sunflower lanyards can also be collected at certain entrance points. If you would like more information, please ask a member of staff.

RACE SUMMARY

In a race lacking depth PASQUALITA looks the most interesting runner given her useful Flat form in France and wouldn’t need to be anything out of the ordinary to make a winning start. Ginger du Val and Ten Thousand Stars make most appeal of those with experience.

Not so competitive as the numbers suggest. LAWTOP LEGEND has been in excellent form since joining Dr Richard Newland and is taken to add to his spring hurdles win at the chief expense of That’s Me who arrives on the back of a point success and is much respected for his new yard. Pakie’s Dream has yet to match his hurdles form but is another who is weighted to have a say.

RACE SUMMARY YCCS PORTOCERVO proved better than ever when making a winning return over this C&D 5 weeks ago and looks capable of defying a 3lb rise. Siannes Star arrives at the top of his game having won his last 2 starts at Southwell so rates the main threat, while Neville’s Cross is probably on a good mark if sorting out his jumping. 1-2-3: 1.YCCS PORTOCERVO (FR) 2.SIANNES STAR (IRE) 3.NEVILLE’S CROSS (IRE) KEY colours

RACE SUMMARY Given that FOX’S SOCKS showed fair form in bumpers for Nicky Henderson before a quiet start to his hurdling career for his current yard, there’s a good chance that a lowly opening mark of 80 could underestimate him.
