FIRST STEPS ●

1912: ARMERIA ESKOLA is founded as a council school. ● January 6th, 1913,: the first school year begins with 20 students. ● June 24th, 1914:The School is officially opened in its actual location. The studies were divided into three sections: ● Fitters applied to small tools. ● Gunsmiths. ● Short guns.
1920. Arms manufacturer
1920-1950 1920: he students were divided into two categories: Mechanics and Gunsmiths. ● 1928: the School changes its name to “Armoury and Precision Machining Specific School”. ● 1937: The School was destroyed in the Civil War only the walls stood up. ● 1938 the school was officially reopened. ● 1950:The first enlargement began. ●

1954-1978 1954: The School is handed over to the National Ministry of Education. ● 1964: the following Electronic studies are introduced: Radio – TV and Industrial Electronics. ● 1967: Industrial Draughtsmanship is introduced. ● 1968: Micromechanics(high precision speciality) for instruments and machining tools is introduced. The School becomes the first unique center in Spain teaching that speciality. ● 1972: First promotion of female graduates. ● 1978: Quality Control Specialty is introduced in School (1st in the state). ●

Some history
1979-1982 1979: The new building for Middle Professional Training is opened. ● 1981: The School is transferred to the Basque Government. ● 1982: TEKNIKER R &D Centre is created. ● The School and the Former Students´Association are the ones involved in its creation. ● It makes it possible for the companies to take part in equal terms. ● On June 10th, the first constituent assembly of TEKNIKER R&D center gets together. ●

1983-1995 1983: The School and the Former Students´ Association agree to the development of “Professional Retraining Courses” with the Basque Government Labour Council (In 1990 the School taught 2155hours). ● 1994: ● Project with the “Lyceé Polyvalent du Pays de Soule” from Mauleon (France). ● “Exchange in the ”Teaching Methodology of Micro-mechanisms and its Exploitation Feasibility” . ● 1995: Strategic Reflection: Organization dynamics. ●

1990-1998 1990: New Education Law (LOGSE). ● 1996:The school map of the area resolves Armeria Eskola will be devoted to non-compulsory education. (16 year onwards). ● General Certificate of Noncompulsory Secondary Education:Technology, Science and Health Baccalaureats. ● Professional Training: ● Machining. ● Maintenance and Production Services. ● Electricity and Electronics. ● Chemistry. ● 1998: Armeria Eskola becomes a Specific Institute for Advanced Professional Education and Training. ●

3D LABORATORY It has 5 workplaces with a V2 or V2x2 flying printer each of them and with a laptop to design the elements to build and send them to the printers. In addition, it also provides two other industrial printers Stratasys uPrint SE Plus and Objet Eden 260V models. The laboratory equipment has two 3D scanners, as well.
