S U P E R P O P B OY BERLIN, GERMANY POP ART Berlin-based, young ar tist Super Pop Boy has already asser ted himself as an impor tant figure on the pop ar t scene, distincting h i m s e l f w i t h e y e - c a t c h i n g a n d c o l o u r- t h e m e d ar tworks. The path to his current ar tistic place of creation was not a straight line, it was more a spiral-shaped experience, leading through the Academy JAK in Hamburg and the H u m b o l d t U n i v e r s i t y, w h e r e h e s t u d i e d t h e a t r e and cultural science and Modern German Literature. This gave fruition in his first stage play „Die Existenz� (2006). The thrilling big scene encounter did not hold his ar tistic attention for long for he made the choice to follow the path marked by his individuality and freedom and it turned out to be exceptionally colour ful.

S U P E R P O P B OY BERLIN, GERMANY POP ART The most popular series of Super Pop B o y i s n a m e d “A n d y ” i n w h i c h e v e r y painting has an assigned main colour n a m i n g i t . T h e n a m e a l o n e ( “A n d y ” ) i s a n invitation for a imaginative game where the author plays with our vision as what we perceive is not always what our eyes s e e b u t a l s o w h a t o u r b r a i n “g u e s s e s”. Therefore the titular Andy is of prime i m p o r t a n c e b u t , p a r a d o x i c a l l y, w e c a n n o t see him. The scenes of Super Pop Boy mostly present ever yday lives of individuals, his insight on the currently ongoing happenings, fashion and trends, however, his recent ar tworks capture the combination of high-tech and futurism, with reference to two of the most influential gurus in the field - Elon Musk and Steve Jobs. In her own words, she says that she was born an ar tist, but only fully realised her ar tistic talent at the age of 30. She finds inspiration in nature, people that she meets and her dreams, which becomes clearly visible looking at these vibrant abstract paintings. The use of brushes and knives (sometimes both) while painting with oil and acr ylic on canvas emphasize the main motif and inspiration source. E VA J O H N O VA SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA ABSTRAC T Eva Brady Johnova is a Slovakian ar tist, c u r r e n t l y l i v i n g i n S y d n e y. J o h n o v a c r e a t e s abstract ar t inspired by Australian nature, colours and textures. Her ar tistic style is derived from her experience as a make-up ar tist after which she star ted her ar t career with some found objects when she used old furniture, books, and newspapers. Those ar t pieces not only bore specific ar tistic expression but were a l s o e c o - f r i e n d l y. PA M G O G H P I S A , I TA LY SURRE ALIST, E XPRE SS ION IST Italian ar tist Pam Gogh is known by h e r p s e u d o n y m i n s p i r e d b y Va n G o g h . S h e studied Histor y of Fine Ar t in Florence and many of her works including her wall ar t show environmentalist themes. She never stops learning, attributing learning values to the impor tance of the whole ar tistic process. Pam wants to get to the hear t of anything she is preoccupied with, and says “I believe that ever y painter must know his origin to be able to create something new!” A r t h a s b e e n a n i n t e g r a l p a r t o f P a m ’s life since she was only 15, when she sold one of her first ar tworks. She is an active traveller, painter, photographer and writer; uniting all results in unique, mysterious and mesmerizing ar tworks capturing her o r i g i n a l a n d d r e a m y p e r s o n a l i t y. Since suffering with Thyroid cancer, the way she approaches ar t has changed, and her illness also gave rise to the Coloring Life project. As she travels, she extracts the anotherness of a place and puts it on canvas, Pam cooperates with musicians on tours and turns their sound into custom painted instrument cases. To t o p i t o f f P a m p e r f o r m s volunteer ser vice, collaborates with H a r d c a s e Te c h n o l o g i e s a n d K i n g o , and also had a collaboration with the photojournalistic agency Grazia Neri (2005).
