Editor's Message What's up D19S?! I hope you all are having a wonderful month of December! 'Tis the season, so make sure to stay jolly and get in the spirit of giving and the holidays! Although Fall Rally South has ended (still simping), make sure to continue staying PROactive in Key Club and your lovely division! Stay connected with your fellow Bunnies through our facebook page and our other social media platforms. (Links and @'s will be shown on the "Stay Connected" page.) Now that CTC has ended as well, it is the season to think about running for LTG and/or consider who you think should be our next LTG! However, our lovely current Papa Bun will not be going just yet! Happy Holidays beastie bunnies! Hopping to opportunities, Asumi Shuda Division News Editor

On December 9th, Palos Verdes Peninsula High School attened the annual Christmas Party at the Boys and Girls Club. At this event, key clubbers were able to help the children decorate and make Christmas ornaments as well as decorations. The volunteers had so much fun conversing with the children and were truly in the spirit of giving. The members learned the importance of helping young minds and learned to direct them. This event happens every year and participants love it every time. Ashley Liang, PV Peninsula Historian

Mira Costa’s Key Club hosted one of its biggest participating service events of the year: the LA Brain Tumor Walk in Hermosa Beach. Eleven members woke up bright and early to support this amazing cause. We set up, worked with the community, learned how to raise awareness for brain cancer, and cleaned up. The club’s president, Jennifer Swartz, connected with the cancer patients on during the walk and expressed great amounts of care and support. New members volunteered on that morning also, and they enjoyed the impact of the experience and have continued to participate throughout the month. Additionally, the club had a Yogurtland fundraiser, a great way for members to bond before Fall Rally. Fall Rally was a huge success for Mira Costa members to see how big the Key Club community is and that we really are a family. Jennifer Swartz, Mira Costa President

This month on November 16th from 5:45pm-8:00pm, North High Key Club volunteered at Edion’s Family Literacy Night. Members served hot chocolate to parents and their children while they enjoyed the night reading and celebrating books. Others went to the book fair to assist the workers with helping families find books they were looking for. Making hot chocolate was fun, especially in the cold weather. It felt especially good afterwards when we were able to drink some ourselves! In all, the event was simple, but we enjoyed every minute of it. Member Abbas Bholat describes the event as “Fun since we got to help the kids enjoy their night with their families.” Our club saw this event as a success, and we always enjoy helping Edison out when they ask. Should they require our help again for Family Literacy Night, we will definitely come back to help!
