What things do you love? Great food, cute babies, and hilarious adventures with my friends.

What 3 countries would you most like to visit? I would first like to visit Korea, then Spain, and then Italy. Athena (Tina) Sok 1845 E. Harrison St. Tacoma, WA 98404 sok.athena@gmail.com (253) 310-3271 Twitter/Instagram: @TunaSock

What is your favorite holiday song? My favorite holiday song is “Santa Clause Is Coming To Town.

Merry December, Sharks!

I hope you all have been enjoying the holiday season with your friends and family. I also hope that you all have been taking some time to serve those in need that may not have as much during this season. All dues were due December 1st. If you have NOT paid your dues yet, it’s best you do it ASAP! The Call to Convention has been released. This is very important for clubs that are planning on attending DCON 2014. DCON registration is due February 14, 2014, and DCON Awards and Contests Applications are due February 25, 2014. I really advise all clubs to apply for a contest or award because you all have been doing an outstanding job and your work must be recognized! The Dance to Eliminate was a huge success! We raised about $1.600 for the Eliminate Project; saving 800 mothers and babies! I would like to give a special shout out to the Stadium High School Key Clubbers, including Julia Han, Katie Na, and Sarah Kim, because the whole event would not have been possible without your support! The Lieutenant Governor Election Rally is NEXT MONTH, January 18. If you are interested in running, be sure to let me know. Happy holidays and stay safe out there! With love and service,

Athena Sok

Hello everyone! My name is Roshni Chandwani, and I am your 2013-2014 International Trustee. I’d love to get the chance to talk to all of you, get to know you, and work more closely with you. Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF isn't over yet! Your clubs can still submit their money by December 31, 2013. If you're having trouble with the Kiwanis Giving Form, look at my previous update for detailed instructions on how to complete it or contact me. Remember to write your club name or number on the check’s memo line to ensure your club receives proper recognition for its efforts. In addition, the Key Club International Board has set a fundraising goal of $1.5 million for the upcoming year! This number just so happens to be the exact amount of money needed to vaccinate all 62 target districts in the Democratic Republic of Congo. There are currently 1.9 million women at risk, and as Key Club International, we can eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus in an entire country. Key Club Inter national President, Raeford Penny, has written a blog post that describes in the detail the situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Read the attached document to find out more (titled Blog Article for Key Club Eliminate Project); together, we can achieve this goal! Yours in service,

Roshni Chadwan Key Club International Trustee for Eastern Canada, Kentucky-Tennessee and Pacific Northwes Cell: (281) 854-4553

The Pacific Northwest District would like to give a huge thanks to all the attendees that came to the Dance to Eliminate on November 23 at Stadium High School. In one night, we raised around $1,600! The event would not have been successful with the support of you all, the Key Clubbers! But most of all, this event would have not been possible with the hard work and commitment from all the Stadium High School officers, faculty, and Key Clubbers. The PNW District greatly appreciates your help and contribution to the Eliminate Project! Again, thanks to those who came out to the dance, and we hope to see a great turn out in our next event for the Eliminate Project.

AGAIN, THANK YOU SO MUCH, STADIUM KEY CLUIBBERS!
