Division 34 Newsletter | September Edition

For the whole month, I was trying to figure out who stood out the most that deserved the Key Club spotlight. I really had a hard time choosing who. One day I decided to watch some of the vlogs of my club members from Mt. Tahoma. I never noticed that my members made Key Club vlogs until just recently! Each video made me laugh and smile countless of times! I just can’t put it into word how happy the whole idea makes me feel. These vlogs made me remember how much I love Key Club and of course, how much I love my division. Shout out to Ricky Rath for editing and creating these vlogs and another shout out to all the Mt. Tahoma T-Bird and Lincoln Abes that contributed to making funny videos. I enjoy every single one of them and they all make Key Club and our division look very interesting and fun! Want to check out their videos? https://www.youtube.com/user/OfficialRickyR Warning: Viewer discretion is advised. Photo Credit: Ricky Rath

Special Thanks To: Ricky Rath — Big thanks to you for all the photos and videos you’ve taken at these past Key Club events. I appreciate your huge support and involvement! Terrence Ho — Your unconditional support for Key Club is unbelievable. Another huge thanks for providing for us at the DCM BBQ!

Happy September, Sharks! I hope you all enjoyed your summer. I’ve met a lot of new sharks at Seattle Rally and the last DCM and I would like to welcome you all with open arms to the most loveliest division! Now that school has started, it’s time to get down to business! Things are getting real and we must take things seriously. Remember our District Project our amazing Govenor presented to us at our rallies? I want ALL OF YOU to do YOUR part. How will you contribute to our $24,000 goal? I hope you didn’t forget that we all pledged to eliminating MNT! For this, I will be offering 100 points for every club that holds an Eliminate Project fundraiser! I will be visiting clubs throughout the course of the school year and I can’t wait to meet all of you amazing Key Clubbers! See you all real soon! With love and service,

Athena Sok

Hello everyone! My name is Roshni Chandwani, and I am your 2013-2014 International Trustee. I’d love to get the chance to talk to all of you, get to know you, and work more closely with you. If you’d like to do so, e-mail me back with days/time that you’re usually available so that we can set up a Skype, Google Hangout, or phone call. We can talk about anything that you want to in addition to the Youth Opportunities Fund, topics that International would love your feedback on, and the Eliminate Project. For those of you who may be a bit unsure about what this is, YOF is a grant that Key Club International offers for individuals or clubs to perform service projects that they don’t have the funds to normally do. The Education and Development committee has revamped the application so that it’s easier to understand and so that clubs can fill it out electronically. More information on the YOF applications will be given soon. If there’s anything you want more information about, let me know!

Yours in service

For many newly joined Key Clubbers, they all enjoyed Seattle Rally! Your fellow sharks made many new friends from all around the Pacific Northwest. Seattle Rally was one the greatest experiences a Key Clubber could ever experience, after DCON and ICON of course so be sure you come to Seattle Rally 2014!
