SWIM TEAMS DEVELOPMENTAL SWIM TEAM This introduction to competitive swimming helps swimmers gain the basic motor skills needed to advance to the CAD Swim Team. Testing is required. Swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards) freestyle and backstroke to participate on the team. Practices occur daily during the week. AGES 6 – 18 C.T. CITY OF ATLANTA DOLPHINS The City of Atlanta Dolphins (CAD) is an advanced competitive swimming team. Participation in the Developmental Swim Team is required prior to joining the CAD team in addition to a swim test. Practice times vary based on age and skill level. AGES 6 – 18 C.T. Yoga Postures are practiced to align, strengthen, and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques are also a central focus and integrated into the class.
