via’s EVO range of energy-saving LED bulkheads has been designed with the installer in mind, offering convenience and speed of installation as their key attributes. The range currently comprises the standard EVO bulkhead, EVO ORB, EVO Slim and EVO Deco XL. They all benefit from a fast-fit twist and lock installation mechanism and they feature a tri-colour CCT switch integrated onto the LED board, making it easy to switch from 3000k, 4000k and 6000k. The standard IP65-rated EVO bulkhead is available in black and white and in 12W and 16W versions and a popular feature with contractors is the benefit of four 20mm conduit knockouts. This enables surface conduit work directly into the luminaire. The IP65-rated EVO ORB bulkhead is a stylish model with larger dimensions – 320mm diameter and 113mm depth – and is available in 12W and 16W versions. The IP65-rated EVO Slim has a depth of just 57mm, making it ideal where a subtle solution may be sought, or where space is tight. EVO DECO XL is a 20W, IP54-rated bulkhead with a 470mm diameter and 96mm depth. Typical applications will be larger, more open areas to avoid the need for a greater number of smaller fittings to meet the required light levels. All EVO models are available in Standard, Microwave, Emergency and Microwave Emergency. Microwave sensors are activated by movement, unlike PIR sensors which detect heat. Another unique feature of the sensor is the ability to provide a step dim function where it steps the light output to 10% or 30% when no presence is detected after a pre-determined time. Competitor products would

require dimmable control gear to provide such an option. This is commonly known in the industry as corridor function, which aims to provide a low level of light for statutory reasons and ramps up to full brightness once movement is detected. All EVO Emergency bulkheads benefit from the latest technology by incorporating Lithium ion batteries. Lithium batteries benefit from having longer operational lifetimes, are much smaller in physical size and have an extremely low self-discharge and power consumption under use. This enables Ovia to offer all EVO models with a five-year warranty as standard.

For your chance to win a multi-store voucher worth £250, simply answer the following questions correctly: 1.  How many 20mm knockouts does the EVO have?

2.  What type of sensor is featured in all EVO Bulkheads?

3.  What is the warranty across the range of EVO Bulkheads? a)  Five years b)  Four years c)  One year
