Audubon Center of the North Woods

The Audubon Center of the North Woods (ACNW) is a proud leader in environmental education and renewable energy, and is committed to providing lifelong learning experiences to people of all ages. We believe that a healthy environment starts with and is perpetuated by a personal connection to it, and ACNW is and has been committed to that goal for over 40 years. We have been teaching environmental and outdoor education programs since 1971 and our impact has been worldwide. Our focus is on developing an understanding, ethics and responsibility regarding the environment and the role of humans through formal and informal experiences that link nature and humans. ACNW strives to stay at the forefront of these increasingly diverse topics and to promote ways in which people of all ages and backgrounds can come to know nature while making decisions, every day, that affect all our lives and our natural world.
