GENERATIONAL CURSE OR IS IT PURE BAD LUCK THAT THINGS DO NOT FAVOUR YOU? CONTINUES FROM PREVIOUS ISSUE Pointers on how to deal with a generational curse continued: 5. RELEASE THE POWER OF LOVE. To become people whose lives are transformed by the love of God, we must not only get rid of what holds us captive and keeps us in bondage, but we must also be filled up with love--for God, for self and for others. Unconditional love will release blessing. To know more of the love of God in your life, love those who have hurt you, those who have

opposed you and those who have sinned against you. 6. DEVELOP A GODLY ATTITUDE. A good attitude does not make everything go perfectly all the time. Matthew 5:45 tells us that God sends the rain on the just and the unjust. But our attitude determines whether the rain will water the seeds of our harvest or wash those seeds away. Get serious about where you are going with God by getting your attitude lined up with His Word, having faith and trusting in Him.

7. ALIGN YOUR WORDS WITH GOD'S WORDS. Your words give evidence of your faith, and they should reflect God's good purposes for you. Exchange your negative words for positive words, exchange your negative thoughts for positive thoughts, and exchange your negative actions for positive actions.

8. ACCEPT GOD'S ACCEPTANCE. Jesus didn't come to condemn us or punish us. He came to give us hope that our lives really can be different. We don't have to live under the burdens of pain, hurt, shame or sorrow. All the power in heaven is available to you to set you free from every chain that binds you. Corrie ten Boom said, "There is no pit so deep that God's love is not deeper still.” 9. WALK IN OBEDIENCE. In order to break free from the curses and walk in freedom, you must learn to walk in obedience to God's ways. We don't have to be perfect or without mistakes, but our hearts need to be surrendered and pliable toward God. We need to be moving forward in the things of God every day of our lives. Today's decisions determine our tomorrows. There is a miracle on the other side of your obedience. Till next week, Adios.

PREMIER TAKES STOCK OF MPUMALANGA SERVICE DELIVERY Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza says while considerable progress has been made in service delivery, the provincial government will spare no effort to reach more people to improve the quality of life for all. “With services like water, electricity and others, we are standing at 80% [delivery] and we know more still needs to be done. “When it comes to roads and potholes, I can say 95% of the province's roads are good. Only 5% are in a very bad state and we are working towards eliminating that. “In helping municipalities with their roads, we have also deviated money to help them maintain the

roads, as they have no financial capacity in some cases,” said the premier during the SABC/The New Age business briefing on Thursday. The premier said the province had also turned the corner in education. He said the provincial government was making progress in terms of increasing employment by aligning learners with the needs of the job market. “In education, we are doing well. We have increased our results over the past years... To make our youth employable, we have signed a MoU with the private sector … to help government to align the youth's skills to what is needed in the job market. That is why we have started building a maths and

science centre in the Gert Sibande region,” said Premier Mabuza. With regards to municipalities that were not performing well when it comes to the Auditor General's reports, the premier said: “Most of the province's municipalities are in deep rural areas, where people don't pay for services. Due to that, municipalities rely only on grants and that makes them not perform well, as some money works for unintended things to save the situation (sic). "Another issue is that well qualified municipal managers are hard to find when it comes to deep rural municipalities, which is a sign of skills shortages.” SAnews.gov.za Premier addresses the community

The Premier further warned communities not to dump the elderly people at the old age homes, but should take them there only if they wished so. “Black and white are different in terms of their cultures and traditions.
