GERERATIONAL CURSE OR IS IT PURE BAD LUCK THAT THINGS DO NOT FAVOUR YOU? No body just originated from the air with no family which already has a history behind them. Even if your birth was harphazard, you still have a family even though it may not be known to you. Your history is there somewhere, you just have to locate it. What is a generation? According to the dictionary it is: “all of the people born and living at about the same time, regarded collectively” What is a curse? The dictionary says: “a solemn utterance intended to invoke a supernatural power to inflict harm or punishment on someone or something” So, what is a generational curse: One reasonable definition of a generational sin or curse is that it is “the natural consequence of ingrained behavioral patterns that are passed down from one generation to the next.” Generational sin can be viewed as learned behavioral

patterns, and this includes “spiritual” behavioral patterns.” The bible says: “And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the father upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and fourth generation.” Exodus 34:6-7. Similar scriptures are Exodus 20:5, Num 14:18, Deut 5:9. It then becomes very clear that it becomes your responsibility as an individual or collectively with willing member of your family to break any existing generational curses that might have been handed down; visiting the iniquity of the father upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and fourth generation. The
good news is that it can be done!

You don't have to let sin and shame cripple you. These steps according to charismamag.com, can help you discover freedom from your past. 1. RECOGNIZE THE CURSE. In order to get set free and stay free, you have to admit you have a problem. That sounds simple, but we live in a day and age of denial. No matter what has happened to us in our lives, each of us are responsible for the choices and decisions we make. If you really want to be free, you will accept that responsibility.
3. (1) Give your life to Jesus; the blood of Jesus removes our sin; (2) Fight the battle with spiritual weapons (such as the Word of God and the armor of God); and (3) Regain control over the power of your will. When Jesus shed His blood, he bought back our willpower. Through the blood of Jesus, we can say no. 4. REVERSE THE CURSE. There are three keys you can use to reverse the curse and live in victory: (1) Recognize your enemy. We battle not with flesh and blood. Our enemy is Satan, and the battle is spiritual. (2) Forgive people who have hurt you. (3) Treat causes, not symptoms (for example, insecurity, jealousy or fear).

BASIC CONCEPT AND IDEAS OF DEMOCRACY Its time to make your Make your Mark. This issue aims to give you an understanding and appreciation of the values and rights that underpin the South African Constitution, so that you’re able to practice responsible citizenship and enhance social justice and sustainable living. Khanyisa readers you play an important role in this publication. Today Khanyisa its where it is because of you. Your readership made a mark to this publication. Without you there is no Khanyisa so let’s work together to form a better South Africa by making a Mark on the Seventh of May twenty Fourteen. NB:Remember your vote is your voice. We urge you to go and make your mark so you can be able to free your soul, spirit and mind from the Injustice that destroys peace within our lives and families. The IEC has demonstrated to citizens of South Africa how to Vote. Im referring you to page 5 of this Khanyisa Issue that you are busy reading as in now, to update you on the statistics of the Elections. As I was saying ... about Democracy. What is Democracy? It is a familiar word to most people and it’s still misunderstood and misused. In
the dictionary , ‘democracy’ is “government by the people where supreme power is exercised by them or by their elected representatives under a free voting system”. In other words, democracy is government “of the people, by the people and for the people”. You sometimes hear people saying Freedom when they mean Democracy. Eish ne! But the two don’t mean the same thing. Ja people mara ne, mmm...as I was saying, Democracy is a set of ideas and principles about freedom, as well as a set of practices and procedures. There are therefore basic standards of government, human rights and equality that any society must have to be ‘democratic’. WE HAVE THE 10 PILLARS OF DEMOCRACY ?Independence of the people ?Government with the consent of the governed ?Majority rule and minority rights ?Guarantee of basic human rights ?Free and fair elections ?Equality before the law ?Due process of law ?Constitutional limits on government ?Social, Economic and political diversity Tolerance, cooperation and compromise Well-if you don’t get one of the pillars of democracy, then I suggest you go and make your mark cause your vote is your voice.

Human Rights Day 21 March Human Rights Day in South Africa is linked with 21 March 1960, and the events of Sharpeville. On that day 69 people died and 180 were wounded when police fired on a peaceful crowd that had gathered to protest against the Pass laws. It was more than a protest against the Pass Laws of the apartheid regime. It was an affirmation by common people, rising in unison to proclaim their rights, and it became an iconic date in our country's troubled history.
SAKHILE THUSONG
Apartheid policies In 1948 the Nationalist Party came to power in South Africa and began to formalise segregation in a succession of laws that gave the government control over the movement of Black people in urban areas. The Native Laws Amendment Act of 1952 narrowed the definition of Blacks with permanent residence in towns and cities. Legally, no Black person could leave a rural area for an urban one without a permit from the local authorities, and on arrival in an urban area, the person had to obtain a permit within 72 hours to seek work.

BRINGING GOV. SERVICES AND INFORMATION CLOSER TO PEOPLE
The Reference Book, or Pass, included a photograph, details of place of origin, employment record, tax payments, and encounters with the police. It was a criminal offence to be unable to produce a Reference Book when required to do so by the police, and Black men in particular had to carry identification with them at all times. In 1956 women of all races protested against Pass law requirements, when 20 000 women of all races marched to Pretoria. Anti-Pass law campaign The Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) proposed an anti-Pass campaign to begin on 21 March 1960. Black men were to gather at Sharpeville without their reference books and present themselves for arrest. The order was given to disperse, after which the Police opened fire with sharppoint ammunition on the crowd of men, women and children. Following the Sharpeville massacre, a number of black political movements were banned by the Nationalist government, and the resistance movement went underground. Modern era When African National Congress was democratically elected to government, with Nelson Mandela as its leader, 21st March was instituted as the South Africa Human Rights Day and included in the list of national holidays of democratic South Africa. On Human Rights Day, South Africans are asked to reflect on their rights and how to protect themselves against violations. Human Rights Day reminds us of the suffering and loss of life that accompanied the most recent struggle for human rights in South Africa, but it also highlights the slavery of the Colonial era. It is why we must also ensure that modern forms of slavery such as human trafficking and forced labour are addressed and eradicated. We have received amazing testimonies!
A man and a woman A man and a woman meet in an elevator. "Where are you heading today?" the man asks. "I'm going down to give blood." "How much do you get paid for giving blood?" "About R20." "Wow," says the man, "I'm going up to donate sperm, and the sperm bank pays R100." The woman angrily gets off the elevator. The next day, the man and woman meet in the elevator again. "Fancy meeting you again. Where you off to today?" "Sperm bank," she says with her mouth full.

By Mpiyakhe Goodboy Nkosi 0720697850 THE FATHER I NEVER HAD… How undeserving of your love was I? You brought me to the world but was never there when I neededyou, You abandoned me when I needed you the most. I needed a father to guide me through life but you chose to run away, You became the father I never had… I wished you could tuck me in at night me but I always cried myself to sleep, Wishing I could get that one chance to feel my father's love. All I had was shuttered when you abandonedme, Tears have become the father in never had, At least they are there to console me when life knocks me down. You should have had the decency to give me up, Before you gave me love knowing fully that you would take it away fromme as I started needing it. You took my life away from me when you left without a reason. The father I never had… Every time life knocks me down I wonder “What if I had my father for support?” Only to open up old wounds that tears me apart. I always keep asking myself “What did I do wrong for you to abandon me?” Tears fill my eyes when I see other children with their loving fathers, Wishing I had one also, but the reality dawns on me that I will never have that chance ever. How undeserving a son I am of your love. THE FATHER I NEVER HAD… send your poems with clear portrait pic to admin@khanyisamedia.co.za

THE GSDM LIBERATION HERITAGE PROJECT Since hosting the Provincial Liberation Heritage Summit in 2010, the Mpumalanga Province through the Department of Culture, Sport and Recreation(DCSR)has prioritized the Liberation Heritage Project as a flagship project todevelop, manage and sustain the legacy of the national liberation struggle. It is important tonurture and preserve collective struggle memories.
The project is a constant reminder that the liberation struggle history of South Africa was as long as colonization itself which spanned more than three centuries. The Liberation Heritage Project has both the national and continental perspectives.

PAC STRATEGISES
The inaugural phase of the project was launched in the Ehlanzeni District Municipality in August 2012 focusing on places and events of cultural significance, sung and unsung heroes. Followingthe success of the launch, the DCSRhas commissioned Sector Based Development Consulting
(SBDC) toundertake similar research in the Gert Sibande District Municipality. The research focuses on the following themes: * The Modern Liberation Struggle; * The Mass Democratic Movement; * Massacres and Assassinations; * Sites of Historic Significance; * Wars of Dispossession; * Women, Youth and Student Movement; and * Early African Intellectuals.
To date, Sector Based Development Consulting has conducted a Situation Analysis resulting in the creation of a preliminary list of sites, events and people connected with the Liberation Struggle. With fieldwork currently underway, the success of the project resides in buy-in and proactive involvement of all stakeholders, in particular the communities in the District Municipality. We are therefore inviting
comments and inputs on the work done to date and encourage the public to provide additional information where gaps exist in the study. The Situation analysis report is available at the DCSR website: http://www.mpumalanga.gov. za/dscr and Heritage portalhttp://www.heritagepor tal.co.za/notice/documentatio n-sites-heroes-and-heroinesliberation-struggle-gertsibande-district
Meanwhile the Project Team will conduct radio interviews and communicate the project through local newspapers The list of sites, events and people will be published in local newspapers for public verification. The public is requested to provide additional information to expand the list, to fill in possible gaps and location information such as: * Name of Village / Township /Town / Farm / Mining Complex; * Street / road address; * GPS coordinates; and * Photos.
ANC HAS A STORY TO TELL
The ANC took time to talk to tomorrow’s leaders
The leadership of the PAC gathered in Ermelo to strategise for the Elections Pan Africans Congress had a workshop on how to campaign for the elections. This is how the PAC chairperson has to say. “As the chairperson of the Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) in this province, today we are having an election strategic planning workshop. Its purpose is to plan how we are going to approach the elections. We are aware that Pan Africanist Congress had some internal challenges, now those challenges have been resolved. The court proved that the legitimate PAC leader is Alton Mphethi, he will be the one on the Ballot paper. Today we will map out our way forward concerning the approach of elections. Again we going to discuss the number of The President of the PAC Mr. Alton Mphethi votes that we are expecting. The youth was in full ANC Regalia in Staderton at the weekend when the ANC addressed the youth especially those that will be voting for the first time this year. The youth expressed hope for a brighter future in a non-racial democratic South Africa under an ANC government. They had their own story to tell thanking the government saying that they see all the things the ANC government is doing for them. Those below voting age who were in regalia said that they wished they could become full ANC members by voting in May but their age could not allow. One of the born frees that was at the gathering was so happy that she would cast her vote for the first time this year: “I am so happy that this year I will also be able to vote. To me it is the only way that I am able to fully participate in a democratic South Africa” she said. Selepe who is the ANC Co-ordicator in Lekwa praised the youth for their determination and encouraged all people that were there, You must not to sit at home on 7 May and say that you know the ANC will win, but to go out in your numbers to vote for the ANC” said Selepe.
MMC Maboa Boltman & the young supporter “These children to them it is a story when you tell them about what was happening during apartheid, that black people had no rights it is a story, that you could become sick and die without proper heath care it is a story to them, however they need you to go and vote to maintain the freedom that they have” said Selepe.

The Dictionary For Success Addicts Attitude …! With Ackson King Mwami
“Ask and it will be given to you; Seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7 –NIV) Association is the level of decree to which your associates have the rights, granted and permitted by you,to influence your lifestyle and the decisions you make in life. Sometimes it is an unconscious process where you may even think you are living a default life but it is this force of association in operation.
W
hen directed into the right path, association does miracles. You need each other in order to really make it in this life. The power behind association is neutral, it depends on the kind of people you choose to hang around with. You see, I have heard a lot of people petition before God to why they were chose to be born in their
specific family bloodline. I wish they could answer me this one: given an opportunity to choose your second best family called friends, why decide to go for less than you can ever have? It is just this simple; our life is a total sum of the five closest people we spend the most of our time with. And because this is true, we are living the most of our lives that has been decided by the force of our associates. The right people to have in your life are the people who are better and bigger than you in thinking and in experience. People who will not only be your comfort zone but those who will PUSH you towards
CHRISTIANS CALLED TO BUSINESS
Rev. Sibusiso Mfeka on Facebook
Dealing with business challenges BUSINESS CHALLENGES, BUSINESS SOLUTIONS, INSPIRATION
B
usiness is a world driven and shaped by certain spiritual dynamics, which make it difficult for those who have no spiritual discernment to contend with. It’s challenges, opportunities and pitfalls requires one who has developed a strong Spiritual Intelligence (SQ) to be able to manage them. It is a world riddled with sins of bribery, espionage, fraud, murder, stealing, lies, hypocrisy, sexual immorality, condescending and backbiting to name a few. It is a domain that Satan has used to crush many and bring them under his authority with promises of fame, money and power. Conversely, the business world is one that God is also interested in because of its ability to shape human character, potentials and abilities. Through business, communities are formed, developed and transformed as business people develop policies, programmes and procedures that are geared at improving humanity. God has allowed humans to express His creative ability by bringing to pass products, services and innovations through the vehicle of business. As a business persons we are human. All humans are spirits who live in the body and have a soul. We are the very essence of who God is, His image, breath, mind and Appetite. Therefore as spirit we interact with other spirits in a form of business partners, shareholders, board members, suppliers, distributors, customers, employees etc. We have the ability to use our five senses so you can be in touch with the physical world, hence there are brands who can appeal to you from a neurological point of view. We have emotions, feelings and thoughts that can be expressed
through crying, laughter, anger etc. All these makes us human beings. As spirits therefore, we are always drawn to worship something or someone. Worship or homage is an inborn character given to us at creation by God. As we grow we then make decisions on who or what our object or subject of worship is. Whether we are religious or occultic, atheistic or theists, spiritual or mythical, worship is part of our human fibre. When we come to the business world, our inclination to worship always show it’s head. In order for us to be able to navigate successfully the world of business, we don’t only need skills, exposure and powerful connections. We also need God’s Spirit to be our navigator, Captain and CEO of our lives. Let us then focus on the three roles of the Holy Spirit in your business life. 1. The Spirit gives us heavenly understanding of the earthly things (Job 32.8) In the text, Elihu a young man who has been listening intently on Job and his friends talking about all that has befallen Job and how God could be involved in his troubles, requests to speak to the older men and then mentions that though he is young to display wisdom to the aged, he would rather depend on the Spirit of God because “there is a spirit in man, and the breath of God gives him understanding.” Man travels the world to search for knowledge. They dig tombs in Egypt, scale monuments, go through caves, search the Internet, attend scholarly conferences and read ancient texts in search of knowledge. Knowledge increases daily and the faculties that bring that knowledge about. As humans we are always driven to want to know more of what the secrets of the earth are.
becoming the best they can ever help you to become. An eagle does not need to be reminded that it is on a far different league with chickens. Do not associate yourself with people who will tell you "things will be alright" when you are going through a rough time. Find people who will tell you how they will make things right or at least give you direction on how you can make things happen. Don't just be comfortable with an ABSA kind of friend who's there with you TODAY, TOMORROW, and TOGETHER. Rather get a friend who will see you stressing and instead of saying "everything will be just fine" he will stand to say like FNB; how can I
help you? After asking that question he must be a friend who will then like NEDBANK; make things HAPPEN! You see, this is a kind of friend who like Standard Bank keeps you; moving forward! 2% of Population will not be able to fend for 98%
The economy of South Africa is organized by government and a few fellow citizens (minorities) and foreign investors. Government deals with state enterprises, such as South African Airways, Defence Industries etc, running all government departments, see www.gov.za.
T
he minorities are the main organizers of the economy but they are so few they represent about 2% of the population. How can 2% of the population look after 98% of the population? It will never be fair. The majority will remain excluded, but they are eager to come into the mainstream economy. There are 16 million citizens on social grants.
who do not qualify for social grants, but have families and responsibilities. They are desperate for quality jobs and real opportunities to prosper in life. Added to the 5 million who are officially unemployed, it means there are 15 million people who really need to be actively incorporated into economic participation either through jobs or opportunities. What is required is a system to create opportunities and jobs for all, to drive economic growth by including the majority and leaving the economy in the hands of a few.
Over 12 years we researched and produced an 840 page business plan under the banner of South Out of these about 5 million are able African Development Foundation to answer the objectives of bodied active citizens, mainly government's four challenges women with children, who use the inclusivity, job creation, bridging grant for survival, but are not the wide income gap and poverty satisfied with their status. They want to work and make progress in reduction. life. Estimates are that 15 million citizens are employed or found some The business plan is at an advanced form of employment. stage of piloting, but we need government to engage the process. After the pilot it is set to create 60 Of this number 5 million were industrial parks country wide in 10 temporary jobs (ithoho) in years. As they expand the industrial construction and government parks will create 21million direct programs such as expanded public jobs and 5 million indirect jobs in works. These are active citizens 25 years. There is however knowledge and understanding that no man can conjure up which only comes from the Holy Spirit. He will provide us with Insight, Information and Intel. As we develop that close relationship with Him, we will not be ordinary business people instead we will excel far above our peers. 2. The Spirit quickens our mortal body (Gen. 2.7) After God had made man from the dust of the earth, he breathed into Him the breath of life and man became a living soul. The soil has been scientifically proven to contain minerals in their various forms. However, God still decided that no matter how good looking the human body can be, it is still lifeless without Him breathing into it. The breath of God is what quickens our mortal bodies. It gives us mobility so we can function on earth. As we do business, relying on God’s Spirit, He will give us speed, strength and sustainability to be able to achieve
things that are humanly impossible to achieve. Our mortal bodies are prone to sin. The business world is full of sin. In fact sin has been interwoven into the very fibre of business, thus used to sell product and services, promote innovations and punctuate on brands. When the Holy Spirit quickens our bodies, He makes us to say no to ungodliness. He convicts the world of sin. There are practices we will not be involved in even under pressure from peers, management and business partners. 3. The Spirit comes alongside us (Jn. 14.16-17) In one of His final discourse with His disciples, Jesus Christ is promising His disciples that He will not leave them as orphans. Instead He will ask the Father to send another like Him, but One who will function differently from Him. He promises that He will ask God the Father to send allos
To roll out 60 industrial parks countrywide the program needs R2 billion for 6 sites a year for 10 years only, and once-off funding for each. If we double the money it takes 15 years to achieve these number of jobs. This thing that blacks have no skills is not true, because they are running machines in all our factories in the country. The focus is in manufacturing of consumer facing goods or goods we buy in supermarkets and shopping centres, products which local, national and export criteria, as well as being portable. If we check in our supermarkets, there are no products made by black factories. We are just a market. Countries which have succeeded put their citizens into manufacturing. However manufacturing is a craft, which needs practice, practice, practice and there is no doubt the first entry will be challenging and but is a necessary step into industrialisation. SIGNING OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT
2014 SIGNING OF CONDUCT
Preamble to the Pledge We, the undersigned leaders of political parties, recognise that South Africa is a democratic and constitutional state founded on the principles of,amongst others, regular elections and multipartyism. We accept that an election requires an environment wherein there is free political activity, where all political parties are able to canvas support without fear or hindrance. We recognise that democracy development in our country partly depends on the ability of voters to hear different political opinions as espoused by various political parties and thus enable citizens to exercise the franchise on an informed basis. We further note that free and fair elections is the only legitimate basis on which the authority to govern is derived.
We acknowledge that the Electoral Commission is constitutionally mandated to ensure free and fair elections of legislative bodies. We acknowledge that political parties and candidates participating in the 2014 National and Provincial Elections are obliged to observe all provisions of the Electoral Code of Conduct, which is binding on those participating parties, their candidates, members and supporters. Statement of Commitment The political parties gathered on the Specimen

Further Pledge To underscore this commitment, leaders of the undersigned political parties pledge:
Four parties were unable to send a representative to the signing ceremony but remain bound by the Code of Conduct in terms of law and will be invited to sign the pledge at their soonest opportunity.
To lead their political parties in a manner that will reinforce a culture of tolerance towards all other parties contesting elections To effectively counsel and advise all candidates on their party lists so that each candidate will in turn propagate a message of maximum tolerance
The pledge was signed by a senior representative of each party and commits them: 1.To lead their parties in a manner that will reinforce a culture of tolerance towards all other parties contesting elections 2.To effectively counsel and advise all candidates on their party lists so that each candidate will in turn propagate a message of maximum tolerance 3.To publicly promote the eradication of no-go areas for political campaigns by political parties 4.To desist from using speech or from participating in actions which will have the effect of provoking either parties' supporters or members of the general public to commit acts of intolerance or take other

Addressing the signing ceremony, Electoral Commission chairperson Adv. Pansy Tlakula said the “freeness” of elections speaks largely to the environment that prevails in the lead up to an election. “Free elections mean, above all, a free ballotgiving eligible voters a chance to make their choice, to hear the different positions of those contesting an election.
Any allegations of prohibited conduct by a party or its supporters should be reported to the SA Police Services.
“As the Electoral Commission, therefore, we place a high premium on the ability of contesting parties to engage in free democratic political activity. We also place a high premium on the ability of every contesting party being able to campaign freely and to engage in open public debate,” she said.
Attached are examples of the ballot paper in order of parties for the national and provincial elections along with a copy of the wording of the pledge signed today.
The Code of Conduct is enforceable for all political parties from the date of proclamation (25 February 2014) until the results are officially announced. The Code is part of the Electoral Act (73 of 1998) and includes a list of prohibited conduct including: *Using language which provokes violence *Intimidation of candidates or voters *Publishing false information about other candidates or parties *Plagiarising any other party's symbols, name or acronyms *Offering any inducement or
